I bought the transmitter only, and tried it with my Ashby Park fan. The on/off switch works to give power to the ceiling fan. Keeping the bottom switch in the ON setting, you can see the red led at the top light up with every button press. But the ceiling fan does not acknowledge any command. I matched the wall control dip switch with my receiver and remote, and I also tried every of the 16 combinations of the dip switches on the wall control and it did not work either. I did not buy the transmitter & receiver kit because I did not want to lose the ability to change the light color (5000k, 3000k, 2700k) which is permitted with the ashby park remote. My guess is that if you bought the transmitter and receiver kit for this wall control, your new wall transmitter would work for the basic controls, but your Ashby Park remote would no longer work, and you would also lose the ability to change the light color. **Q: My switch works, but it wont turn off the light. The fan speeds and on and off all work but i think the light button may be broke. How can I fix that?** A: Inside the switch unit there are 4 tiny switches. You have to move 2 of them.
