HOCN Keyless Remote Control Transmitter Fob 433MHz for Jaguar XJ8 S-type X-Type

Came quick as any prime item, the actual materials are not as good as the original jag key, the key flip out mechanism felt a bit flimsy you can hear the spring pinging, the little pastic Jaguar emblem that was stuck to the key flip out button had already come off, as noted on another review the PCB is not held down with a screw as in the original keys. So I transferred the guts from this new one into the old shell.Once paired basically works as the old keys did, bar one exception, it doesn't seem to be able to turn on/off the two stage locking by holding down the lock and unlock simultaneously for 4 seconds like the original keys do, but its a minor thing.But hey, means I now have a working fob , for not alot of outlay

Fob arrived in good time. Changed the key end from the u/s one to this one. Paired it to the car (internet instructions) and works perfect. The only thing I could remark on is that the screw to hold the pcb in the unit was not fitted but simply took the one out of the old unit and fitted to hold the board in place. Other than that I am very pleased to have a spare key again.

This key fob was brought for my 2008 jaguar X-type which allows remote key programming from the car .This Fob arrived in good time with all circuitry and battery installed with a blank key ( no worries changing key onto new fob) and it worked with all functions after programming , thank you a great saving .

Does exactly what it tells you on the 'tin'. Took the blade off my old key and placed it on to the new fob. I then paired it with the car and worked as it should.

Product was as described and well packed but did not work for my car.

Has to be adjusted to the correct frequency, easy to do, instructions included.Once paired with the car, (see instructions on the internet), it works fine.Much cheaper than other alternatives, use the actual key part from your old fob.

Worth every penny easy to program but most importantly it works save u a packet highly recommended would definitely buy again.
