AMAZING!!!! Light fluid does not evaporate like "Zippo" lighters or other peanut style lighters... Going on 3 months now with the 1st lighter fluid fill and still sparks a flame first time every time!

This lighter is garbage...look for another brand. My had fallen of my keychain. No good for EDC because of the quality.

I thought I would have this on my keychains for a while before reviewing. I purchased two. It turns out that they do light like they are supposed to. But they are not very durable. It turns out that on both my units, the cap only holds on by about 2-3 threads to the lighter part, the threads are very shallow and do not hold the cap very securely. You can separate the two parts just by pulling apart with your fingers. After about 3 weeks, the bottom unit has started to separate from the cap with the slightest bump of the keys. So the cap stays on the keys, but the actual lighter part falls on the ground. And this is on both units. That tells me there is a design issue. The cap needs to hold on by more threads and the threads need to be deeper so as not to strip out so easily. This separating is not good if you are getting this for survival emergencies like I did. You don’t want to be lost in the woods and come to use your mini lighter and find that you only have the cap dangling on your keys.

It's a great little lighter and performs very well. However, after a few days use, the male threads began stripping. I believe this is due to the few threads actually making contact. My experience has been that at least 5 threads making contact is ideal to combat premature stripping. As it is, only three are making contact. Everything else about the lighter performs as advertised.Thank youL. T. Gomez Jr.
