I can see what looks like a line/split running across the length of the sphere, is this the same in the actual product?

I have the Venus, Moon, and Mars globes. I was warned this could happen. Venus has got it but it does not lower the quality (you cannot see it). You must understand that this a magnificant product.

Which stand comes with the globe as standard or can I specify which style I want?
