Fantastic quality and value!
I spent a lot of time researching android tablets before purchasing the s2. Yes, you can get newer models and a multitude of similar tablets from other makers. You would pay loads more for the newer Samsung models and you would miss out on their build quality if you bought elsewhere. Why would you? The s2 is light, slim incredibly easy to use, has a long life battery,a great screen.........I could go on and on but you should have got my drift by now. If you have money to burn go ahead. If you're looking for great performance coupled with great build at a bargain price then go for the S2. Or try to win the lottery!

Excellent purchase
I'm very happy with this product. Bought it to replace an old Samsung Galaxy Tab. I barely need to use my laptop now I have this. Excellent screen quality and battery life and switches between apps with ease

Very light
Wonderfully light thanks to its amoled screen. Makes iPad feel like lead weights. Makes it a joy to hold. Black are very rich thanks the amoled screen. Some colour can look a bit too funky sometimes. But can be tweaked in settings. Decent battery. One important word of warning Netflix paused doesn’t lead to a auto screen saver black out amoled screens are at risk of SCREEN BURN. Take care aways lock to black screen. Not happen to me but watch out!

Crashes and freezes
Nothing to like about this tablet. Worked for long or short enough to set up. Now it's got a mind of its own. Keeps freezing, screen key pad doesn't respond when attempting to log on and on the one occasion I did manage to log on for around 45 seconds it shut down. Not a happy bunny. Contacted seller and was told you do a factory reset to fix problems. Started to reloads apps ect and they froze again, can't even turn it off or close screen. Just printed label to return. After reading all the positive reviews I guess I must have got the one that got away

If buyers have found any issues with the tab
Would highly recommend this tablet. It is easy to use, has a fast processor, screen quality is excellent and it has a good battery life.

Huge step backwards for Samsung.
I really don't understand why they replaced the S1 with a tablet that was inferior in almost every single respect. Smaller screen, lower battery life, no camera flash, no vibrate, speakers only on one side, and that's just the hardware, the software isn't as good either. For example, you can change the font to a funky looking style that's quite nice to read (Choco cooky) as I could on the S1, but the S1 didn't also change the letters on the Keyboard as well !! Nobody want's their keyboard to have a non-standard font, it just makes it harder to use! And if you want to watch videos, because of the fatter screen format, you either have big bars at the top and bottom making the picture only fill half the screen, and therefore be half the size as the S1, or you zoom (if available on your video app) and lose half the picture. And that's if you CAN play your videos. It won't play in the Gallery a bunch of mine that the S1 played happily. Seems the S2 Gallery supports fewer codecs so now I have to pull up either my pictues OR my videos using different apps.Even the official cover (extra) has been changed so instead of a single smooth movement to open and stand the tablet up, you now have to faff around folding out the flap, changing your grip, folding out the other flap, Move one flap round then the other....etc. They even took away the rubber-like finish and made it slippery so now it slides around on your desk when you try to type!Oh ! The screen goes brighter than the S1. Not that it needed to and now you have to click 'ok' on a pop up warning about screen brightness if you turn it up to more than 90%As a tablet, it's fine but it's a HUGE step down from the S1. Seriously Samsung, what were you thinking !!!
