Cannot be used as a stand alone
Bought this for spotting in on top coutries where descretion is key and apps don't cover. Pretty pointless requirement to log on to the Internet at every login - useless

I think its a Really Good Tracker
I also own a Full size radarbox unit (since 2009) , the full size device fitted with a very specialist high roof (non radarbox) aerial typically tracks around 90 aircraft up to 230 NM distance at my home location, the micro box using a separately purchased 3m extension cable fitted to the small supplied aerial is able to track 30+ aircraft at 100NM from window ledge -most critically the software is the std radarbox comprehensive colour display linking aircraft ID to internet photos - I have had no software jams (on laptop) , I bought unit to monitor aircraft when travelling away - packs very compact.I found the key to good performance is the aerial. the 1mtr length one supplied cable is far to short, you require at least 3mtrs (I found no signal loss at that length) to find hotel windows or car roof mount, Is also very cheap- £34, but currently its has become not available in UK and not importable from Amazon USA,Its only disadvantage is when travelling you have to reprogram your location to where you are otherwise it reports silly aircraft distances away from you (distances are based on your home station location), unit is only as good as the view out of window and how close you are to main air routes, that stated new aviation rules in 2020 mean even all light aircraft and microlights will be visible (if the pilots decide to switch them on- still Ryanair pilots are never bother)

Very happy with this receiver
Very happy with this receiver, better than my cheaper one. It works well with my home made 1090 antenna. Picking up lots of planes and have tracked them as far as 450 miles using adsb scope. Using Air Nav Radarbox I am only tracking planes half this distance this also applies with virtual Radar. However when you are tracking through the internet there must be a weakness in the signal.Although the cost of this stick has greatly reduced it could be a little more cheaper.

freedar.uk is better than this thing
very disapointed in this, it takes ages to load up on my windows 10 laptop and does not work right when it does start, will not load satalite imagery and keeps freezing and restarting very very frustrating for an avid airband listener like me as i planned to use my UBC 3500XLT at the same time but as its next to useless i didn't bother

Does what it says
I bought this because I was having issues with my normal Radarbox. You need to connect to the Internet to download the software, and unfortunately, as I had already used a Radarbox, it automatically selected my previous login details. I was also not presented with any new account details either. Does it work. Yes, for GBP34.00 you can't complain. It doesn't seem as sensitive as the more expensive Radarboxes.

Best value ADSB receiver on the market
Bought this as a spare, just in case my Kinetic Puck stops working or I forget to take it with me somewhere. Tried the two side by side and very little difference (tried in the open air, not inside) in reception. The AirNav is now permanently in my travel bag, just in case. Great product can't recommend it enough!

Using with PiAware works perfectly
Using it for VirtualRadar and submitting to FR24 and FlightAware for free premium. Works a treat. 150mi range just sticking the antenna out the window on the top floor :)

Be prepared for disappointment
Couldn't get the software to download from the URL mentioned, tried 3 different computers, waste of time and money, would not recommend unless you can handle disappointment Website doesn't help at all and seems to lack information.
