Didn't know what to expect with this. Its not a typical movie, but has quite a lot of quirky humour, plus interesting social commentary in the story such as environmental issues, social media and convenience culture. My kids enjoy it, full of funny quirky robot characters.I thought the movie was going to be based all on earth but the majority is on a space station with the remainder of the human race on it who had abandoned earth 700 years earlier due to wrecking the earth with trash.I think it can also be a useful tool if you are teaching or doing youth work and want to address the issues raised in a visual story based form.I think the music was a good use of Thomas Newtons style (pay it forward) created a dreamy, almost magical feel to parts of the movie.
