The EarlyGrow MPL50031/P Medium Propagator is the ideal propagator for any grower. The heated medium propagator can be used within the home on windowsills or well-lit areas and likewise can also be used within confined environments with grow lights and grow set ups, particularly for hydroponic growers looking to clone from Rockwool and similar growing medium. The relatively large size provides ample room for the user to sow directly with compost, coir and other medium directly into the tray. Alternatively, the user can sow into smaller trays and place these within the propagator base and lid. Made in the UK, the heated medium propagator is made from robust injection moulded plastic with a crystal clear, shatter resistant lid. Our propagators are reusable and made to last many years with care. The crystal-clear lid is UV stabilised and permits maximum light to pass through either from natural sunlight or even grow lights. The adjustable ventilation allows you to control air flow and humidity as some plants prefer warmer and more humid environments than others. you can make the choice with whatever you choose to grow. The cover also feels nice and sturdy - I am a bit clumsy and it’s good to know it doesn’t shatter if dropped! Ventilation is easy with the two vents at the top. Easy to use, remove from the box and it’s good to go! So far, my marigolds have grown nicely in the propagator. No nibbles and just the right amount of sun and warmth to grow on nicely. Great unit!

I love it so far!
It's spacious, simple and does the job! I was looking for the best one on the market and this one was my decision. However I must confirm with many others that the price is a bit too much, considering that the lid on top seems to not have the same hard plastic quality as the bottom. The lid is way softer and feels it could break if not used with care. That would be my only complaint but otherwise I still recommend! It's still a great product.

Virtually indestructible.
I purchased this propagator to house rare tropical rheophytes and hydrophytes. I accidentally dropped a 6Kg steel bar on one of these propagators a couple of days ago, and it barely left a mark. You can stack extenders on them like pizzas. They are of excellent quality, design, build materials choice. Usability is almost unparalleled. Check out photographs of the seals and vents - all good. A couple of things to bear in mind... There is no hole for a probe, sensor or cable. The heat mat available from this company does not seem to integrate very well with the base of this propagator, so I upgraded my heat mats to waterproof ones that can go inside; drilling a small hole is an easy fix. And clear sections/lids should really be individually wrapped so that they do not get scratched during transit. I nevertheless hold the opinion that the product is rather excellent. I now own three.
