The build quality feels solid and installation was straightforward. A dependable solution for maintaining proper filtration and performance. Review: Great alternative to a dedicated "clay sink" - I have a home pottery studio, so dealing with clay is a daily business. I would always worry that I was going to clog our garage sink with clay from my cleanup, even when taking precautions like cleaning inside a bucket (to catch the larger particles). So, I installed this Gleco trap, replacing the existing U trap. Installation was a bit tricky on my sink, I didn't have the exact setup shown in the instructions. It would have been super easy to install if I had, but three trips to Home Depot later I was able to get it installed. Now I still use a bucket when cleaning my clay tools, but now I don't have to worry about clogging the drain if some clay sneaks out. I also clean my glazing tools directly in the sink. I can see the sediment collecting at the bottom of the attached bottle, so it is definitely working. And swapping out the bottles is pretty easy. Dedicated clay sinks can cost almost a thousand bucks, so this is a much better alternative that saves you a lot of money and headache. ## Features - Country Of Origin: United States - Model Number: 7078726 - Item Package Dimension: 10.0" L x 10.0" W x 10.0" H - Item Package Weight: 1.0 lb ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Brand | Practicon | | Manufacturer | Practicon | | Country of Origin | USA | | Model number | 7078726 | | Number of Memory Sticks | 1 | | Item Weight | 1 kg 20 g | | Product Dimensions | 31.72 x 30.91 x 16.71 cm; 1.02 kg | | Item model number | 7078726 | | Item Height | 6.58 Inches | | Item Width | 12.17 Inches | | Included Components | Gleco Trap System with 2 bottles | ## Images ![Practicon 7078726 GT-43 Gleco Sediment Trap System, Shape,, () - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61JprHNEt3L.jpg) ![Practicon 7078726 GT-43 Gleco Sediment Trap System, Shape,, () - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71ClR-yYwsL.jpg) ![Practicon 7078726 GT-43 Gleco Sediment Trap System, Shape,, () - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71NBZBG7qmL.jpg) ![Practicon 7078726 GT-43 Gleco Sediment Trap System, Shape,, () - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61AcP9YiK4L.jpg) ![Practicon 7078726 GT-43 Gleco Sediment Trap System, Shape,, () - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61cFsArSvZL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Reliable and Well-Designed Sediment Trap *by O***N on 9 March 2026* Works exactly as expected and helps keep the system clean by effectively capturing debris.
