How to Speak Romanian: A Complete Romainian Language Learning Guide

Various pieces of information incorrect or missing. E.g. there a 3 genders; masculine, feminine, neuter. So they explain the masculine and feminine, but not the neuter. Huh? Not bad for the price though, but better to use the internet for an introduction and then spend more money on a more thorough book. However, I haven't found one I can recommend.

This is a really good language book suitable for someone wanting to learn more than Touristspeak. You can plunge straight in and get vocabulary and grammar without too much effort.

Unless I am seriously mistaken, then it is true to say that this book, in its entirety, is but an extract of a much more comprehensive book. This extract might have been helped by a good Romanian proofreader. It contains both errors of a typographical nature and linguistic errors.

Excellent. Well organised and easily understood explanation of Romanian grammar. Brief but comprehensive .Well worth the money.

it's a very small book, doesn't teach you anything

I needed a phrase book to help with training a Romaine dog . It's useful .

Poor value indeed, 48 pages. Compare that my Italian or French language equivalents it looks a leaflet rather than a book. I also think stating its a Complete guide is mis-selling.

This is a very short book on Romanian grammar. Although it is not enough by itself to learn Romanian, it is the best simple summary of all the major rules that I have seen. It is the kind of book you could carry around very easily given that it only has 48 pages.At the end it has a number of useful phrases, a number of which you will not find in the Berlitz Phrasebook which is also quite useful.Compared to the detailed grammar books it was a breath of fresh air to get through this book. It will definitely accompany me on our trip to Romania next summer.

It’s not a book, it’s a pamphlet. Completely useless. I would give it 0 stars if I could.
