This was a Christmas gift and it was AWFUL! Only a few colors are powder eyeshadow. The rest are an awful, chemical smelling gel. The white containers are very thin plastic like what you would find inside a box of chocolates containing their molds. The container itself was super cheap as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if this tested possible five for asbestos just like the Claire’s makeup kits a few weeks ago. Avoid this product. There are better ones out there with truly natural, good quality makeup for not much money. To be honest, I wish I’d just purchased a bare minerals pallet. The money well spent would have saved me peace of mind.

This is impossible to put together. The shoe comes in separate pieces with a metal connector you're suppose to snap together yourself, however, the cover is so thin that you can't apply the pressure you need without breaking it. If I wasn't using it as a stocking stuffer for a 4-year-old, I would return it, it's not really functional, so if you aren't willing to use the trays separately, don't buy this.

My daughter originally loved this gift, the packaging is cute and it fit a lot of make up easily. However the makeup case easily fell apart and broke. Within days this set was in pieces when the corner hinge snapped. Leaving me to manage flimsy trays of make-up falling apart on broken plastic. Will not buy again, would not recommend.

I bought this for my daughter who is five and loves makeup thanks to everyone doing a tutorial. It just seems to be Vaseline with glitter in it. She loves playing make up and pretending she's doing her own tutorials.

If you have ANY sensitivity at all, do not purchase this product. It was harsh and hurt my skin when my girl decided to give me a makeover.
