The volume is decent for what you pay, and the sound clarity is surprisingly good. It’s lightweight, portable, and the overall quality is solid for a budget speaker. As expected, the sound quality isn't perfect. It distorts at high volume. But, if you listen at a medium volume, it works great. I listen to my music and watch video on alternate devices, and not my computer. I got sick of having big and bulky speakers with 3 or more wires all over my workspace, and a huge power plug clogging up my power strip. This is small, simple, and ONE wire to my computer, with no AC plug. Perfect for what I needed, and no clutter. And, I can use it with my raspberry pi when I work with sound on it, too. That's a bonus.
