but these are a perfect tight fit
All to often I have bought replacement walking pole rubbers which have a hole that is to large so do not fit well and soon come off, but these are a perfect tight fit, at last!!, they are also a very reasonable price. Highly recommended for walking poles with a narrow, tapered end.

Sturdy, flexible rubber. 1.5" tall, an inch across the bottom. Opening will take half inch diameter (or 12mm - 16mm).
This set of four rubber ferrules measures 1.5" tall, reinforced bottom edge is almost an inch across. Hole for insertion of spike is 16mm (trying to be really accurate, forgive going from old money into new), but there is some flexibility. Fine for anything with half inch diameter.I got mine for putting a protective rubber tip on an inexpensive umbrella tip and it fitted perfectly.I found it was better to just put the rubber ferrule on the tip and tap it down onto a hard surface to get it to seat itself rather than pull or twist it on.They're sturdy rubber tips which stay put (and will probably outlast the brolly), but do an excellent job of protecting vulnerable ends.

Just Perfect
I was a little dubious that these would fit my hiking stave which has an Alpine tip however these are an absolutely perfect fit. Walked about 50 miles so far and it hasn't detached. Recommended.

COULD I RECOMMEND THESE NO I CAN'T THEY RUN DOWN WAY TO ...
I bought these to replace the ones that came with my walking stick bought in june 2015 I go out shopping Tuesday and Friday I go to the shops come straight back I have an outdoor cane and a in door these where for my outdoor they lasted till aug 2015 and wore down very fast. there cheap and do there job but for me they don't last long enough dispite the price I think they need to be thicker where the metal part of the end of the cane fits the the base of the ferrule. COULD I RECOMMEND THESE NO I CAN'T THEY RUN DOWN WAY TO QUICK A SET OF FOUR DONE IN 2-3 MONTHS 2 OUTINGS A WEEK TO THE SHOPS NOT MOUNTIAN TERRAIN

Poor quality
This is a poor substitute for a LEKI part. The tips are made of a very hard composition that skids badly, making them unusable for roadwork - which is all I use them for. I have thrown them away.

Does the job
Seems OK. Snug fit on a Leki pole. A tighter fit, but still went on OK on a Cotswold pole.
