Yogini Bhava: Shakti Mantras Invoke the Divine Within Audio CD – January 1, 2010

Yogini Bhava did a fantastic job for Mlecchas, like myself who is is non Hindu. Her chants make me dive into Hindu spirit, without any formal knowledge of it. Very powerful! Nothing like commercial chants on YouTube, that make me feel like listening to “plastic” stuff.

As another reviewer said, this is not fun workout music. It is serious traditional Vedic Chanting. If that's what you want, this is FANTASTIC. I love it! I am studying Traditional Mantra and wanted something with correct pronounciation, intonation, and spirit. This is it. One voice chanting (Shambhaviji) and very soft Tabala drone in the back ground, basically.

Having been a eacher of TM for 46 yars and an Ayurvedic practitioner for 15, this is the only female chanting I have heard and itdoes have a very different inner response, which is taking time for me to truly discern the difference.Dr. Beverlee Cannon

This hauntingly beautiful selection of invocations to the Goddess will touch your soul. Shambhavi embodies the essence of the Goddess herself.. These invocations will take you into a deep space within - where the Goddess herself resides...I have read both of Shambhavi's books and they are both treasures and perfect to accompany this exquisite cd.

This is a truly amazing cd. I recommend it to anyone who desires to experience and broaden their sadana. Her voice is angelic. The cd comes with a brief explanation of each mantra...visually and auditorily stunning.

Songs are great, but the explanation interposed in between each songs are really off putting

Gives insight to the different Hindu Deities.

The background music and the voice are good. The singer has rendered the mantras clearly and one can feel the soul in it, especially the Devi Mangal Kamna Mantra.
