Reasons for choosing Dworth knife set Dworth keeps optimizing the forging process to guarantee the good property of the steel. Ice-forging is a process that after quenching of the steel, conducts a low temperature ice quenching with at least -70℃ and a high temperature tempering. In this way, .the steel structure is improved and the blade is sharpened with a good toughness and corrosion resistance. An ultra low temperature ice quenching in -196℃ and a high temperature tempering are conducted on the knife set that consists of multi-layer steel after quenching to guarantee a good cutting performance. Dworth advanced knife manufacturing process A special formulated steel, the hardness of the steel determines whether the blade can maintain sharp for a long time or not, and it must possess both toughness and corrosion resistance. The formulated steel of our knife set uses a special formula which there is an optimal balance in the ratio of carbon and chromium. It possesses a good hardness and sharpness. Arrived with a broken knifepoint. I plan on returning it.Obviously the steel isn't that high of quality if it broke in transit.
