Q: Can you use this with calor butane gas

Hi Sue The Campingaz Stove Grill will run off any of the LPG gases - Propane (red bottle), Butane (blue bottle) Patio Gas (green bottle) or Campingaz 901/904/907 Propane is the best performing in colder weather and has the most variety in bottle size but any of them will work. Be aware that each type uses a different regulator but the hose and clips will be the same for all. Q: Could you cook a joint of meat in this with the lid on?

In my experience cooking with the lid on retains enough heat to have a baking effect and I have done it to ensure that meat us properly cooked through, however, I haven't cooked a joint of meat on it.

Q: can you also use this with propane cartridges?

Can use it on camping gaz cylinder or any propane cyl with the correct regulator & length of pipe no provision for use on disposable cartridges
