Featuring a stylish chrome-plated brass ring and multi-colour display, it helps maintain the optimal 40-60% humidity range to reduce allergens and improve respiratory health. Easy to mount or stand, it empowers you to optimize your living environment and save on heating costs. ## Description Check the temperature and humidity values in your rooms regularly with the thermo-hygrometer. The thermo-hygrometer with chrome-plated brass ring is an ideal instrument for monitoring the indoor climate. You can easily keep an eye on temperature and humidity and regulate by targeted heating and ventilation when the values are outside the colour-coded comfort zones. So you can create a pleasant and healthy living climate and even save on heating costs. Simply hang it up or stand up with the base. Mould and mites spread in high humidity. But even too dry room air can affect our well-being in various ways. Skin and respiratory organs are strained and infections, allergies and asthma have an easy game. A relative humidity of the room air of 40 - 60% minimises pathogens and thus respiratory diseases. To keep your hygrometer in top shape, we recommend regenerating the meter at least every six months and, if necessary, readjusting it. The instructions for regenerating and adjusting analogue hygrometers are included with your product. On desertcart, you will find a video above in the product images describing the mounting of the stand for you. ## Features - Fast measurement - Made of plastic - Made in Germany ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B008CF3CQO | | Best Sellers Rank | 313,480 in Garden (See Top 100 in Garden) 859 in Weather Thermometers | | Brand | TFA | | Colour | Multi-colour | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars (4,062) 4.2 out of 5 stars | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04009816023537 | | Included Components | Instruction Manual | | Item Dimensions W X H | 10.2W x 11.4H centimetres | | Item Type Name | 45.2033 Thermo-Hygrometer | | Item Weight | 79 Grams | | Lower Temperature Rating | 50 Degrees Celsius | | Manufacturer | TFA | | Manufacturer Part Number | 45.2033 | | Model Number | 45.2033 | | Mounting Type | Wall Mount | | Number Of Items | 1 | | Number Of Packs | 1 | | Temperature Accuracy | 1 Degrees Celsius | | Temperature Reading Accuracy | plus_minus_1_degree_celsius | | Unit Count | 1 1 | | Voltage | 1.5 Volts | ## Product Details - **Battery description:** Button cell (e.g. CR2032) - **Brand:** TFA - **Colour:** Multi-colour - **Item weight:** 79 Grams - **Product dimensions:** 10.2W x 11.4H centimetres ## Images ![TFA Dostmann 45.2033 Thermo-Hygrometer, Multi-colour, 0.8 x 13.5 x 3.8 cm - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61t21mcoIKL.jpg) ![TFA Dostmann 45.2033 Thermo-Hygrometer, Multi-colour, 0.8 x 13.5 x 3.8 cm - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71ZvDakEYrL.jpg) ![TFA Dostmann 45.2033 Thermo-Hygrometer, Multi-colour, 0.8 x 13.5 x 3.8 cm - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/812DfzBho1L.jpg) ![TFA Dostmann 45.2033 Thermo-Hygrometer, Multi-colour, 0.8 x 13.5 x 3.8 cm - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91vv8l6SGEL.jpg) ![TFA Dostmann 45.2033 Thermo-Hygrometer, Multi-colour, 0.8 x 13.5 x 3.8 cm - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71moY7iOySL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Colour Name** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stylish, clear and accurate. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 25 March 2016* I am very pleased with this purchase.I was surprised at quite how big it is - but that is not a problem, the dial is 10cm (4 inches) in diameter. There is a "keyhole slot" on the back to allow the circular body to be mounted on a wall. There is also a separate stand - it has a lug that clicks easily into one of the slots on the lower edge of the circular body (there are 9 slots so the obvious choice is the 5th slot, ie the centre one). The hygrometer can then be stood anywhere you want.It is nice and light, when attached to the stand it is very stable. To remove the dial from the stand, just hold the stand on a flat surface and tilt the dial forwards gently and it will come free with very little effort. Do not try to just pull the dial free.It is primarily a Hygrometer, so the humidity scale is the largest and the temperature is shown on the smaller dial. As shown on the product photos the text on the dial is mostly in German, but numbers are numbers - so there is no confusion.I have a couple of electronic/digital thermometer/hygrometers. The temperatures match within 0.5 degC, and the hygrometer on this agrees with the others to within 2% humidity at 40%.There are instructions in English, although I did not need to try and recalibrate mine, it arrived reading correctly once I left it in the room for about 20-25 minutes. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good, clear display on this hygrometer. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 10 December 2015* I am very happy with this hygrometer. It has a large clear face with different coloured zones. Even although the labels on the face are in German, it's obvious what they mean.Calibration - if required - can be tricky as it is very sensitive. It may be best to use a non-metallic screwdriver for this task since the dial pointer reacts to the presence of metal. A small plastic knitting needle with the point altered to a blade would be ideal.According to the instructions, the hygrometer should be wrapped in a damp towel for 30 minutes before recalibrating. This will take the dial pointer to maximum deflection. It should then be set to between 95% and 98% RH, after which it will fall automatically to the correct humidity level for the room.Although the instrument itself is sensitive and accurate, the optional stand is not very secure or robust. Nevertheless, in its price range, this is the best and most accurate hygrometer I have owned - and I have had several different brands over the years. It also has a thermometer in the lower segment of the display, which is very useful. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks good, works well! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 26 March 2016* Great device, no problems with calibration, seems very accurate too. Other reviews have mentioned the stand doesn't fit well with the Hygrometer, I found this too which was slightly disappointing. Since this can be hung up I didn't see this as a massive problem though. ## Frequently Bought Together - TFA Dostmann 45.2033 Thermo-Hygrometer, Multi-colour, 0.8 x 13.5 x 3.8 cm - MAVORI Analog Hygrometer – Thermometer Hygrometer for Indoor – Premium Stainless Steel Humidity Gauge Indicator – Mechanically Operated Temperature and Humidity Monitor – High Accuracy - TFA Dostmann Thermo Analogue Thermometer Hygrometer with Metal Ring, Humidity Meter, Multicoloured, L 71 x W 23 x H 71 mm,45.2024 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/50601449-tfa-dostmann-45-2033-thermo-hygrometer-multi-colour-0-8](https://www.desertcart.be/products/50601449-tfa-dostmann-45-2033-thermo-hygrometer-multi-colour-0-8) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
