Really simply, I'm a fan of the Pathfinder Card game. If you want that type of mechanic with a modern, horror, "World of Darkness" feel...this is absolutely going to feed that craving. Box came in great shape, all the cards were undamaged. I can't wait to play this game with my friends when we get our schedules right! It's made by Mike Selinker (and many others) and I loved the Pathfinder adventure card game series so I have high hope for this. I've read the rules and the pacing seems a bit faster with only 24 "omens" on the clock, as opposed to 30 "blessings" in PACG. The role cards seem a lot simpler and conflicts on card vs rule seem simpler to resolve. This also has an easy ruleset to "create your own adventure" if you choose to have a guide or DM. I played a demo at gen-con and I love the creepy, darker vibe that I experienced during the demo.

This game is very fun, once you figure out the setup and rules. The rulebook is not very clear on some aspects of the game. There were a few things we got stuck on and had to look up a youtube video to answer our questions. The setup is also very long and not too clear. Once you figure out though, this game is actually a blast.

It’s Pathfinder with modern horror themes and locations. Quickly became one of our favorite games. The art on the cards and books is vivid and detailed, and the lore adds something extra to gameplay

Despite its supposed modern horror theme, the game uses too many arbitrary terms, breaking up any immersion of the game. I was thinking of backing the original Kickstarter, but am very glad I didn’t.

There is so much content in all three box sets. 18 missions in main box, 36 missions per expansion, this is a good value. I imagine this amazing game will go largely unplayed by the board game community (due to various factors), but that's a crying shame. This game screams theme, strategy and a rich complexity I've rarely seen in board games. If you like a deep game that will give you many hours of challenge, get this.
