One year's warranty. The MicroSolar SP2 can deliver 8~12 hours' light once fully charged. How does it work? During the day the MicroSolar SP2 Spot Light's 2 watt solar panel charges its internal 2000mAh Lithium Ion battery giving it the power it needs to light after dark. After dark the SP2 will activate as soon as it detects dark. At dawn the SP2 stops lighting and starts charging again ready for the night ahead. How do I install it? Find the best location for your solar panel within 5 meters of where you plan to have the floodlight. The location needs to be as south facing as possible and free from light obstructions such as buildings, trees, fences, bushes or the shadows that these create. 1. Position solar panel in desired location 2. Face the solar panel to SOUTH and adjust the angle between the panel surface and horizon. 3. Position the light in desired location 4. Connect solar panel cable to light and turn on. How waterproof is it? The SP2 Solar spotight is IP55 rated. Waterproofing is rated by the IP (International Protection) system which consists of the letters IP followed by two digits. The first digit after IP ranks a products protection against solid objects. The second digit after the IP rates a products ability to protect against liquids. The SP2 Solar Floodlight is IP55 rated. IP55 means the light is protected against dust - limited ingress (no harmful deposit) and protected against strong jets of water e.g. for use on shipdecks - limited ingress permitted.

Overall I'm very impressed and happy with them
I purchased 2 of there nearly 2 yrs ago to illuminate some bushes at the bottom of the garden, and will be purchasing a 3rd soon for the front. Overall I'm very impressed and happy with them, they give out plenty of light and light up the bushes nicely. During the summer months they stay on all night and actually turn off due to sunrise triggering the light sensor. During the darkest 6-7 weeks of the yr they sometimes only stay on for an hr especially if the weather has been bad and sunlight was minimal, that I suppose is to be expected really.My only real gripe and the reason for giving 4 star and not five is the lamps need to be of a higher IP rating as both of mine leak through the lens and have "things" growing inside. Considering these are garden spot lights having them uplighting is expected and the lamps pool the rain water, slowly it enters the lamp. When I get my third I'll either put an extra seal of silicone around the edge or drill a drain hole, or both. Something for the manufacturer to think about for the mk2.Overall very good lamp and worth the money.

Another fantastic light from Solar Power
Another fantastic light from Solar Power.I purchased two of the white light which arrived yesterday and they were still very powerful half an hour after dawn before they then switched off. Today I received one of the "warm white". I tested it before I put the Solar Panel out and it was already glowing. Beautiful! Will be purchasing more. Best Solar Lights I have!

Bright and seems well made but disappointing performance during winter ...
Bright and seems well made but disappointing performance during winter months. Currently (in Dec), it musters 5-6 hrs of light if it has been sunny all day. Generally, I find that they are not working at all when I get home from work.

Excellent product
Excellent product. Very bright. I am using it for uplighting a tree and it is perfect for that. Only had it a month but so far so good.

Capable unit with a pleasing warm white beam.
Very capable device for highlighting features in your garden. Providing you site the panel in an optimal position it will easily stay illuminated all night in the summer months. Don't have unreasonable expectations during a British winter when there are more hours of darkness than there are of light. No solar unit can possibly be on for more hours than it is charging!
