New Berry Fruits 200g Box

There are jellies and then there are jellies, and however many I try the only ones I would give five well deserved stars to are New Berry Fruits. A staple item of my Christmas since early childhood they not only taste like the fruits they are supposed to be they have that wonderful hard, liquid filled center. I love the way they come in card boxes like chocolates and it is easy to select a jelly without having to push a hand into a sticky bag. The plastic trays, fillers and box can all be recycled.The sad thing is this box was the only one I could find. The manufacturers Meltis only seem to sell them to Amazon but at least you can still obtain them.

This was bought for an elderly lady in a care home who had been reminiscing about "Christmas Past " and regretting that she hadn't seen New Berry Fruits for years. I searched local shops, no luck, so I was pleasedto find them on line....result, one delighted lady, who tells me that they are exquisite and she was thrilled. You made her day, Thank you

Great to be able to get these at all!Only slight problem is that two of the sweets in the one box that I've opened so far, tasted a bit off - hope the rest will be ok.

I have already written a product review on New Berry Fruits elsewhere but here's another one! My wife loves these fruits & says they are exactly the same as they used to be. I've lost count of the numbers of orders I've placed on here for them from different suppliers due to changing stock levels. I can only go on my wife's recommendation as I don't eat them myself.

Used to love New Berry fruits, still do like them but at one time the hard sugar like balls inside were full of different fruit tastes, the ones I have had occasionally bought and bought for me half the time they are virtually dry inside and there is little difference in the taste of the liquid what there is.

These were bought for my mother who is in residential care with dementia. I was looking for some nostalgia to eat as she cannot see. These were her favourites when I was a child in the 50s-60s. She was delighted and really enjoyed them. She told me they were just as good as she remembered them. I was pleased with the ease of ordering on the internet and speed of delivery as I live abroad.

Very disappointing purchase. I remember these from years ago, they were a family favourite. Ordered 4 boxes to share out, and we were very unhappy that they either no longer have the liquid centre, or we ended up with a substandard batch. No better than ordinary jelly sweets - the USP used to be the liquid centre. I guess some things are better left to memory. I won't make the same mistake when they relaunch Trebor Cider Blobs!

Can’t get these in the shops anymore ( at least not where we live) so assumed they were not made anymore. Pleasantly surprised to find them still for sale. My husband buys them for me for Christmas every year.
