The case is strong and sturdy, good quality and fits the 3ds xl console and lots of slots for games. If the 2ds XL is smaller than the 3ds then I would say yes it would fit but just check dimensions. **Q: Would a nintendo dsi xl fit in this?** A: I bought this carry case for my nephew who had a 3DS XL and it was a good fit with lots of room to spare. Not sure of the size of a dsi XL but all the compatible models are shown in the description on the site. **Q: Is it waterproof?** A: Definitely not waterproof. I doubt there's any case made specifically for the 3DS XL that is. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/50570233-austor-hard-carrying-case-for-nintendo-3ds-blue-blue](https://www.desertcart.be/products/50570233-austor-hard-carrying-case-for-nintendo-3ds-blue-blue) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
