They go up my forearm and it’s nice to have that extra protection. They have to be hung separately if you’re using the hooks because they’re a bit bulky, but if you have a long hook it’ll be fine. I haven’t checked out the flame resistance claim though and I truly hope I never have to since I am not cooking with open flames, it’d be an emergency if I had to find out. Review: Great oven mitts, also look good! - These are just what I wanted and more. The non-slip is nice. The fit is great. They look nice. They came lightning fast! ## Features - DURABLE & HEAT RESISTANT: Made of 100 percent durable, heat-resistant cotton with polyester lining, these oven mitts help protect hands from the heat while you're cooking and baking. - SLIP-RESISTANT: Features clear printed silicone to ensure a firm and secure hold when handling hot pots and dishes. - SET OF TWO: This set includes two (2) KitchenAid Albany Mitts, each measuring 7" W x 13" L. - HANGING LOOP: Each mitt has a convenient hanging loop for decorative display or storing when not in use. - EASY CARE: Machine wash cold on gentle cycle with like colors, only non-chlorine bleach, lay flat to dry, do not iron. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0BMKLZVVH | | Best Sellers Rank | #61,826 in Kitchen & Dining ( See Top 100 in Kitchen & Dining ) #168 in Oven Mitts | | Brand | KitchenAid | | Brand Name | KitchenAid | | Color | Beet | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 540 Reviews | | Fill Material | Cotton, Polyester | | Item Dimensions L x W | 13"L x 7"W | | Item Type Name | Oven Mitt Set | | Manufacturer | Town & Country Living | | Manufacturer Part Number | O2017467TDKA 48RD | | Model Number | O2017467TDKA 48RD | | Number of Items | 2 | | Number of Pieces | 2 | | Outer Material | Cotton, Polyester, Silicone | | Product Care Instructions | Machine wash cold, gentle cycle with like colors, only non-chlorine bleach, lay flat to try, do not iron.
