I needed something to teach My tiny Chihuahua not to bark. He would run outside and bark nonstop at God knows what. He also barked a lot when he was left alone with the other dogs downstairs and wasn’t getting enough attention from me. He is very small, Only about 7 pounds and I didn’t want to use anything that was going to shock him or hurt him. This collar was perfect, it beeps and then vibrates if he keeps barking. Usually the beep tone Alone was enough to make him stop. He learned very quickly not to bark as much, and even does well with the collar is not on him. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with a small dog who has a barking problem! It’s a little bulky considering that he is so small but it didn’t seem to bother him at all. He has actually chewed collars off before so I was worried that he was going to chew this one off. He actually left it alone for some reason. Highly recommended!

I got this mostly because it was rechargeable and I was hoping it would work because I've tried others that required me to spend a lot on batteries. To set this up, there's a part on the back that you "scratch" to see if the sensitivity is right. I set it up initially that way sna put it on my dog with the correct positioning (under the neck) and tight enough to where it was pressed against it. With all this prep, my dog continued to bark and it seemed like the collar wasn't working. However, I could hear it working whenever my dog's tags would hit the collar on accident or if he decided to scratch his neck. I increased the sentsitivity as high as it would go and still got the same results. I feel like the "noise" the collar is looking for isn't picking up correctly. I was pretty upset it didn't work. I will just have to look for another rechargeable collar.

I purchased this collar a couple of weeks ago and the collar does not make a sound and it doesn't vibrate when my dog barks. This collar was a waste of money.

Works well for my very small dog, does not shock but makes vibration. Good training tool. Product is of good quality. Only downside was the length of the collar, it was very long and i cut it and when i did it shredded/ frayed causing me to have to cut of the frayed end. I covered the cut end in rubber cement after and it stopped fraying.

Worked a little for a while, but then the 2 small dogs seemed to ignore it. Can see it working on some dogs better than others. Shipping is very slow.

We had previously purchased a dog collar with an electric zap when our dog was one years old due to his excessive barking at anyone and everyone. However, he had a seizure like reaction to the zappy collar- the electric shock was too much for him- we removed it and hired a trainer. Lots of $ spent on training and 3 years later and our dog continued to growl and bark ferociously when people come to the door. We almost gave up on the whole idea of teaching our small dog to not bark until a friend suggested getting a vibration and noise collar. The Barklo collar actually works! The noise on the collar annoys our dog and, in conjunction with a stern "NO" stops him. Now, he may say a soft "ruff" and quickly stop. Note: IMPORTANT to still say "NO" in conjunction with the noise of the collar so that your dog understands not to do that behavior. Before, our dog was so wound up and loud, he couldn't hear us say "NO"! Now, the noise from the collar distracts him which enables our dog to hear us say "No" and redirect him to "go to your place" and "sit" then treat.

First off, I think I got a returned product because it was a damaged box and the contents weren't in the bubble wrap pouch, instead it was shoved in the bottom of the box. When I put it on my dog, there was dog hair on the clasp! Then when I went to test it (it says to scratch the back), it was already scratched up. The worst part is, the beep goes off when my dog isn't even barking! He jumped off the bed...it went off. He was drinking water...it went off. He was running around in the backyard...it went off. How am I supposed to train him to not bark when it's going off when he's not making a sound?!?! Very disappointed.

I had a 7lb teddy bear puppy and this worked well for her. I will say though, it isn't powerful (which is good, you don't want to put a shock collar on the little puppies - or any dog really) but she eventually just got used to it and it didn't really bother her and she continued to bark while wearing it. If your dog has a lot of fur, the sensor has a harder time picking up when your dog barks, but other than that it was a pretty good item/especially for the cost of it - very reasonable.
