Sure there are easier products to wipe on, but this stuff is the real deal that leaves a lasting layer of protection. My boat is 19yrs old and since discovering Collinite wax, it gets a coat each spring.The shine is mirror like - see the photos attached.

I have used versions of this product for many years. I feel that this is the best marine wax you can buy but make sure you get the correct version for your application. The 885 version is the longest lasting marine wax the make but it takes a lot of work to strip it off and a real lot of work to apply it and buff it off by hand. My boat is in the water all year on a mooring, it's in direct sun and the hull is blue. I use this product because it is the longest lasting both for shine and UV protection. If your boat is trailered, covered, or a white hull, you may want to use one of the other versions. There are great directions on the Collinite website to help you choose the right grade for your application, including how easy or difficult it is to apply and strip the wax. Happy boating!

I buy nothing but this brand boat wax. Was recommended to me years ago by a shop owner who did a repair from road damage to my fiberglass, and glad I listened to him. My 16 year old fiberglass Stratos Bass Boat, which I wax with Collinite 885 once a year, still looks and feels like new. I even use it on the trailer which shines like new too. Frequently get "nice new boat," comments at the boat ramp. If your water ride is fiberglass, you can't go wrong with this stuff!

Don't waste your time with this crap. Smells like used motor oil and there is no difference in feel between the waxed and unwaxed surfaces.Application is also a mess because the wax crumbles, total waste of money.

I’ve been using Collinite products for about 20 years now. Currently I’ve been layering Collinite waxes over 303 Graphene sealant to add depth. I hadn’t tried the Fleetwax since I was happy with the Collinite 476, but I got a good price on it so I thought I’d try it. The gloss and depth are both excellent. I’ll evaluate the longevity over time but I’m sure it will be as stated.

Collinite 885 Heavy Duty Fleetwax Paste is very easy to apply. In Florida, I waxed the boat in the fall and this spring, water was still beading as well as it did six months previously. I use it on my motorcycles, motorhome, and other vehicles. It also smells great. I highly recommend this wax.
