The Sony Voice Remote Control for Sony is a great replacement from the original. It is well made, all the buttons function correctly. It is made from hard durable plastic this remote control does not come with batteries. It is very easy to install the batteries, a click a slide with downward pressure and the rear cover comes off. I am a little embarrassed by how many of these I have purchased. Try it out you will not be sorry. Highly recommend this remote control

Well okay I bought this universal remote from Hisense for my Hisense TV which my Hisense TV is a older model it's not a smart TV one of my first HD TVs I got back in 2012 and it's been working great ever since these are some Workhorse TVs I call them but the remote control has had its day because it's the original remote control that came with it power button stopped working and it was hard to change the channels so the next best thing to do is to find something to take its place and Amazon has something that look promising a universal remote from Hisense that works on all the TVs okay what I got to lose I'm going to go ahead and get it this remote works great it controls what I need for it to control with the older TV not only that I can also use it on the smart TV I have a Roku TV 55 inch Hisense TV and it said that this remote control works on all the Hisense so I will use it for both when I need to but I only need it for the older model one it comes in a tool pack that's the one I bought so just in case one breaks down which I hope it doesn't I can always go to the other one that I have so far it works great on both TVs I have tried it I got a bang for my buck about $12 and something so I'm not sad at all or disappointed so this would do me fine but when it comes down to the TVs this is my brand I love these TVs they last a long time they look good and I haven't went wrong since I bought my first one so that's what keeps me coming back far as the remote control goes it lasted a long time but it finally went out had to get something different or something better they had what I was looking for not only that don't best thing about this remote you don't have to put in no code to get it to work it works fine so if you have a license TV or like that I recommend this product give it a try test it for yourself I guarantee you will be happy with it some things might not work it depends what type of model TV you have but a lot of things will work this is a replacement remote control it's not the original one that came with it you would have to order the original one that came with it to get everything to work properly the way you want it but far as getting channels and volumes turned up or down and changing inputs to watch different things you can't go wrong so give it a try you may like it just as much as I like it oh and one other thing my first TV is a 42-in TV regular television not smart TV so this remote works great on non-smart TVs by Hisense so give it a try if you got old TV do you like to get back started and you needed a remote this will work fine have fun enjoy

THis remote works with the TCL Q5 tvs. It is IR remote and the TV responds to it perfectly. The Q5 included remote is RF. With this remote I was able to program an L336 ( learning remote ) to control the TV and the Onkyo receiver and the cd player ...... and control all three with a single remote control. Happy camper

Bought this extra remote for my living room because my kids always seem to lose one of the remotes and then we’re stuck trying to find it. Came pretty fast very nice not much difference between the original and this one would recommend buying.

Our original remote for our 65” Bravia circa 2018 died. This replacement one works well and connected easily. It has been working well for several months now. One complaint: there is no deducted “pic off” button like the original remote. If you have small children, this may be an issue for you. Apart from that, it works great, has survived a few falls, has good range and the buttons are responsive. It also works fine with Eneloop rechargeable batteries, for those who use rechargeable batteries.

The thing you need to understand before buying: this is an infrared remote, and the Sony OEM remote is Bluetooth. That’s a real functional downgrade, not a spec-sheet footnote. With the original I could change channels with the remote under a blanket, off to the side, or pointed at the ceiling. With this one you have to aim it at the TV with clear line of sight. If the TV is in a cabinet, behind smoked glass, or you’re used to operating it without looking, you’ll notice immediately. For me that tradeoff is fine — it’s a fraction of what Sony charges for a replacement, and I’d rather have three IR remotes than one expensive Bluetooth one I’ll misplace anyway. Buy it if you want a cheap functional spare. Buy the OEM if voice control or off-angle use matters to you.
