Only 4 stars as no instructions
These lights look very nice although we haven't put them up yet. Bought 3 sets of these lights & tried each set to make sure they worked, which they did. However, once we connected them together they didn't work properly. I was going to send them back but my husband tried turning the 2 pin connector the other way & then they worked. Theres no instructions in the box saying about connecting them a certain way & theres no way of knowing until you plug them in so its trial & error until you get them right. Also says theres spare bulbs in the box but there wasn't any (don't think you can change the bulbs anyway so why it says that I don't know).

Look good but measurements confusing
Only 3 stars given as one of the 5 boxes of lights didn't work and has been returned. Additionally, the dimensions given are not clear and i found it very confusing. Having taken my own measurements, there are 8 light tubes in each box and each light tube is 30cm long. The distance between each light tube on the cable is about 27cm, which mean the whole length of the cable carrying the 8 tubes is around 200cm (2m). There is an additional 150cm of cable from the first light tube to the plug which give an overall length of cable of about 350cm.I ordered the multi coloured light tubes and worth noting that the individual tubes themselves are not multicoloured, but the 8 tubes will be individually a different colour - 2 red, 2 blue, 2 green and 2 white. They do look great, but the light tubes are very light and I would worry about them banging anything or flapping in the wind too much if outside. I will be using mine indoors. There are no instructions, but I don't think that is needed as assembly is basic and straight forward.

Great effect, Well Made, Good Value
The media could not be loaded. Β I ordered these after already buying the white coloured version and we loved the effect so much we wanted the same but in blue. The effect is really attractive and will look great either on a Christmas tree or if you get a few sets they can easily be connected together and be hung on the outside of the house for a very classy and stylish light decoration. The lights are waterproof so as already stated above they can be used outside safely as long as the plug is safely inside the property. The plug provided is a nice and safe 3 pin UK plug with the earth pin being all metal which it's meant to be but is often not the case with Chinese electronics. The whole package is well designed and made with everything feeling nice and robust.I have included a video but I am afraid it just shows the lights in daylight sitting on my desk but even with that they still look great. For the money paid these are great value and will make a excellent addition to our Christmas decorations.

Good light output, but...
A few of them stopped working fully (last bunch of LEDs didn't illuminate), but otherwise OK. Turning them off and on again didn't resolve it like it has other brands. On a positive, unlike the Premier ones, these didn't lose sequence once, which was good.Plastic is quite thin so could break easily if not handled carefully, and cable between each shower light is pretty small.

Good for indoor use.
Good for indoor use, but the "icicles" were closer together than I'd hoped so rather than over the balcony I used it over a double doorway instead. The "icicles" are inside lightweight plastic clear tubes, about 1cm diameter, with flimsy looking caps at the end - so I can understand other reviewers saying they only lasted one season outdoors.

Great but would benefit from some minor improvements
Really neat. Tried two chains together - brilliant. Agree with others that the plug to first strip is too short. It should be possible to use an extension lead as the plugs/sockets for putting more than one string together is pretty universal. A quick profitable win for the supplier. Points to watch: Putting more than one string together seems to be polarity dependent. Second set didn't work first time but did when I swapped the two pin plug through 180 degrees it did. At one point one strip seemed to die with only 3 LEDs partially alight. Sad disappointed face! Switched off, then on - worked OK. With the chip in each strip I wondered if they needed a "reboot" after I had hooked up the string the wrong way around. LEDs are diodes after all and one way so I would suggest if polarity is important the the small plugs/sockets should have an orientation key and slot. On close examination they do! You can make a mistake then :-( However great value for the price and prompt delivery too.

Disappointed
the meteor lights all work fine but not sure how these can the used outside as the non plug end has an open connecting plug that you can link more sets on. would have been better if a cover cap was supplied. also the lead from the plug to the first light is too short to be able hang them up without using an extension lead. lastly the instruction on the box are not relevant to the product. overall very disappointed as unable to use the lights for the reason i purchased them for.

Fabulous meteor shower lights
The media could not be loaded. Β They already had the big Christmas light switch-on in our town, but I think it's too soon to hang these up in our garden. So I hung them up in the conservatory for bonfire weekend. You can't design a different layout than the one it comes with, and you need to keep all 8 together, so no shuffling them around to change the sequence if you keep them in a straight line. But you can set several up in a series. They'd look great on a fence, under the gutters, or under the windowsill, too, to jazz the house up if you don't have a tree in your garden.I uploaded a video from the conservatory, but it doesn't do them justice. They're splendid in the dark. I'll upload more photos soon to show you what I mean, after I've hung them up a tree.
