Excellent update to a classic
An excellent update to the first edition which has been my standard text for nearly two decades. The coloured diagrams add clarity to the bio-mechanics of how the various body-parts work.I'll retain my dog-eared first edition as some aspects have been left out of the second, presumably on account of space, despite it being in a larger format and containing more pages. The diagrams in the first edition, indicating where pain may occur for various injuries, are particularly useful.

This is a fantastic book for the price
This is a fantastic book for the price, friend of mine runs football team and wanted a sports injury guidance book, so ordered this one as it covers all the basics and more. Fantastic service regarding delivery and would recommend vendor.5 stars for book and service.

A brilliant reference
Great book, I've used it to research some of the injuries that some of my clients have come in with so that I can tailor my combat cardio sessions with routines to aid their rehabilitation.

A lay person's guide
Though not an alternative to getting proper medical attention when its required, this is a superb book for helping sports people when they get a injury to decide promptly the best action to take. More importantly perhaps it also describes the best approach to rehabilitation, by providing specific exercises and routines.

This excellent book is easy to read and understand. A wealth of good, illustrated advice on overcoming injury. arrived very promptly.
