A superb little piece of kit. A little large for putting in a day hiking pack but if you have the space in your pack it brews up really fast with just a few twigs and some pine cones as fuel. Have used the base also for warming small pans of food on overnight hikes. Great for boiling water from questionable water sources.

I wanted to order the similar 'Kelly Kettle' (with the cork stopper) from amazon but could not because they would not post to Jersey. I originally wanted that one because it looks nicer and the text on the item is a bit more tempting. and to be honest its more expensive so i assumed it would be a nicer product.Well im so glad i got this one! A few things that I dont think are mentioned in the description are that unlike the other one this one can be used with the stopper on (should be faster to boil therefore) and that the stopper has a whistle in it so like other camping kettles it will tell you when its boiling. It also comes with its own free carry bag.I have not used it yet but it seems well made and im sure its as good if not better than the more expensive Kelly Kettle.
