Speaking as someone who is one of those people that likes to root my phone, install package files and get my hands dirty, this is great product. I installed kodi on a micro SDXC and had the device dual booting in under half an hour. The box is everything I hoped for, boots quickly and is responsive. Fantastic DTS audio, great video playback. I'm using the box with the included IR extender and, in this mode, the remote control works flawlessly; it also works with a USB 2.0 Hub, Keyboard and 3TB HDD that I had lying around.Booting into Android was very straightforward and not really any different from any other android experience (eg Odroid XU4) I have had; The interface is clean, clear and easy to use. However I discover that the Amazon Video app does not work 'out of the box' but You Tube works fine.Support is great from LibreElec and Wetek with plenty of how to videos and forum advice.I already own a Wetek Core and confirm that the Hub is a worthy successor to this device, cheaper and better in so many ways.Anyone who understands the Andriod OS properly should take to this product like a duck to water, for the more adventurous it is simple to set up and dual boot LibreElec.

The hub has been set up with some difficulty as the remote control does not work very well. If it wasn't for the use of another remote control it would be impossible to use the box at all. It has been impossible to use the delivered remote as the box does not respond to it. In order to switch off the box, it has had to be switched off at the mains.Making use of my previous controller, the picture quality has been excellent.

first off I would like to say how great customer support :) I could not get it working on NFS but that's a problem with android so we got it working with SMB and it works great. Apps on here are good also have Netflix ive added iplayer and uktv and they both work good also the mobile app for the box is so much better than the controller.

I have only had this hub a couple of months... & the antennae went inside... it went back to be fixed instead of being refunded or replaced, only to come back saying nothing wrong with it. I got it back, got experienced ariel/satellite specialists in to set it up... they said the antennae inside was gone & they had to put a hard wire into to get it working. Had it slowly working for about a couple of weeks. Now the sound has gone. DO NOT BUY THIS. I have lost out on all that money.

Great Android TV Box. I've used a few at friends houses and found them a bit slow and finicky. After doing much research online I found that this was the best for my needs

The media could not be loaded.  Of all Android TV Boxes that i have used this was the smallest one.Things i Did Like The Most:- Design & Built Quality- Online Updates- Capable of Playing Netflix up to HD Resolution- Smooth Video Playback in All Formats Tested- Capable of Game Streaming at 1080p 60FPSThings i Did like The Least:- So far Nothing

This box doesnt live up to the expectations. A fire tv stick is smaller and better in so many ways. I wasted so much money on these boxes before i tried a fire stick.

This is very much a tinkerer's toy, not for family use.The company keeps making updates that changes basic functionality, like the power button, home button and back button. Their own player software stops working, the play store is for mysterious and untold reasons removed and it just isn't ready for prime time.It's not a family friendly device. If, however, you are one of those people that like to root your phone and install package files and get your hands dirty, this is great. If you like a smooth and seamless user experience, it's not for you.When it does work, it actually works pretty well.

Super happy with this box! I wanted something with HEVC support and the ability to use an up-to-date Kodi. The WeTek Hub supports Librelec, so I can completely free myself from Android and always have an up-to-date and lightweight operating system and Kodi installation! Performance has been flawless and it can play everything in my media library that I throw at it, no matter what it's encoded in or how high of a resolution or large of a file size the source is. I play the media back from a server on my home network. Price wise, it's the complete package for a similar price I'd pay trying to build a Kodi box with a SBC, and the WeTek Hub leaves me with something that looks more polished and less DIY in our entertainment stand too. It's nearly impossible to find off-the-shelf boxes like this with Librelec support, so this is a gem.I also love the IR extender too! I have plans to adhere the Hub to the back of our media stand and simply have the IR extender peaking out above my receiver - making it almost invisible in the room.Highly recommended! Not another "cheap" Chinese Android box like 99% of them sold here.

Lo compré de oferta a un precio muy muy correcto y la verdad muy contento con el producto aunque lo he probado poco todavia, el 4k se lo come con soltura y se nota robusto y que va a durar mucho tiempo. Creo que si solo quieres Kodi y disfrutar de contenido multimedia exporadicamente no necesitas irte a otros mas caros.

Une des box tv les plus intéressantes, robustes et capables sur le marché.Sa rom android est bien faite même si, pour ma part, j'ai tendance à mettre à la poubelle tout ce qui sort de chez Google (car trop gourmand, trop de fonctionnalités et services inutiles, trop de tracking).Ce produit est d'autant plus une évidence qu'il vous permet de choisir votre système d'exploitation et de le rendre bootable via une simple microSD + manipulation très simple.Pour ma part, j'ai donc testé une installation openelec qui est tout simplement parfaite. Démarre vite, lis tous les types et formats de fichiers et codecs.Tout passe parfaitement, et ce, grâce à sa connexion ethernet gigabit. Connectivité stable et performante, aucun soucis de buffering ni de perte d'image même sur mes plus gros fichiers 4k (bande passante ~70mbps) servis depuis mon nas.Il n'y a qu'un seul point faible de cette box pour moi : elle décode les profils colorimétriques gérés sur 10bit (comme annoncé dans le titre) mais ne les sort pas tel quel via l'hdmi. Elle les sort en 8bit uniquement.La lecture de ces fichiers est alors possibles, mais les couleurs seront fades. Adieu couleurs vives et nouvelles normes se basant sur cette gestion en 10bit (HDR10 et Dolby Vision notamment).Si ce n'est pas un usage pour vous ni une de vos attentes, foncez les yeux fermés.

Ansonsten hat man evtl. mit Formatinkompatibilitäten zu kämpfen.Nun alles einrichten, Google Konto usw.24p bzw. 23.976p haut hin mit "Wetek Mediaplayer" (Grund für mich das Teil zu kaufen, haut einfach ums Verrecken nicht hin mit dem FireTV)Für Amazon Video Inhalte ist weiterhin der FireTV die erste Wahl, darum bleibt er!LibreElec habe ich auch mal kurz angetestet, war verwundert wie einfach das ging! (Installation auch MicroSD)Fernbedienung ist OK (Infrarot).FireTV Fernbedienung (Bluetooth) funktioniert auch damit, jedoch lässt sich die Box damit nicht aus dem Standby wieder anschalten!Für Support-Fragen gibt es ein Wetek Forum:[...]Ich werde hier evtl. noch ein paar Details ergänzen.
