Spreads very well on toast. Review: I am a Malaysian, and Kaya is a jam, that is incredibly famous in South East Asian region (and in Malaysia). I have eaten various types of kaya for the past 30 years, and I can identify the authenticity of kaya as soon as I taste and smell them. This product is an authentic kaya, without any additives, or colour/preservatives. I have tried a few different kaya spread in London for the past few years, and none has come close to the one that I've tried in Malaysia, and this specific product reminds me of the similar taste, texture and smell of the one made locally in Malaysia. It is interesting to note that after opening, the manufacturer recommmends that users finish the product in one month, and keep it refrigerated. This again proves the authenticity of the product, because usually real kaya doesn't last beyond a month.
