As long as the lid/cap that secures the bottle is turned snug enough, and the locking flip lid is closed, there has been no leakage even when the bottle is turned upside down. Another great feature is that we can elect to achieve a steady flow of water from the bottle without actually sipping, using a technique that involves tilting the bottle carefully above the mouth and drinking this way.Sizes:The Ello bottle comes in a variety of sizes. We’ve enjoyed having the bottle quite a bit so we’ve picked up a variety of colors and sizes: 2x 32oz (at home and on the go use for 2 people); 1x 22oz (short distance on the go use for 1 person); 1x 40oz (at home use) and 1x 64oz (at home use for extra water storage).Cost:The price seems to be competitive, if not better, relative to other brands of stainless steel bottles but I’d argue that it’s a much better value for the quality and features.In summary, The Ello Cooper stainless steel water bottle is both well-made and well-designed, offering excellent functionality.

I've had the 1/2 gallon bottle since January 2025, it's awesome. Keeps cold water for about 24 hours, water tastes crisp and clean, the carry handle is great and it's easy to clean. I've had the smaller version for 2 years, in my office that is just as good, no damage, dents or scrapes. I prefer Ello products vs all of the popular ones, they are so much better and last very long, definitely worth the price. I also have 3 Ello glass bottles for about 4 years and they are still just as good, the bottle tops still lock without a problem. The color is really pretty as well.

I love this. It's big but it helps my water to stay cold, it's really useful that it's leak proof 'cause I can put it in my bag and not be scared that the water will damage everythig. I got another one for my husband and he loves it too 'cause it's functionality and the grip that it's so easy with the handle. It'a perfect.

I work at a dog daycare where I'm outside for a full 8-9 hours a day. This water bottle has been the only one I've had to keep my water cool all day long, even while it's sitting out in the sun all day! And at one of the lowest prices for a bottle I'd seen on my search, I'd say this is worth every penny and then some.

I got the insulated 64 oz water bottle. First of all the insulation is really good for the price, I took it with me to work (9-5) and I still have ice at the bottom at the end of my shift. The locking feature is nice and it doesn't appear to spill. My only issue/downside is the handle. It is already squeaking when I use it. I just don't see it lasting all that long before breaking and because of the size it is really awkward to carry without some sort of handle. For the price I would say it is worth it even with the handle issue.

I wanted a half gallon water bottle that would keep water cold, and this is exactly what I was looking for. Ice is gone after 24 hours but it's still cold enough for my taste. I usually refill this bottle once a day so 24 hours is more then long enough for me. I work from home most of the time so I wanted a water bottle that I could drink throughout the day so I don't put it through much stress. Good price on sale and keeps cold that's gg for me homieI've seen some reviews talking about the handle breaking, and I can see how if you didn't hold it keeping the weight straight down how that could happen considering how much water this holds. I have not had this issue because I hold the water bottle correctly! don't be dumb and it won't break that's what I'll say.

I really did love the size of this water bottle but unfortunately the way the handle is made it wasn’t easy to open and close. Eventually the spring in the handle popped out and I had to use a pin to slide it back in periodically then the handle broke and I threw it away. I have smaller water bottles from this same brand and they are great. Wouldn’t purchase again in this size which sucks cause I only needed to refill once a day. The handle is important because it’s so big!
