Q: How quiet is this unit, especially the fan noise?

UH100, at low fan speed, is about the same as standard ultrasonic humidifier without the secondary fan (most in the market). At high fan speed, it's extremely quiet for a fan (quieter than most USB powered desktop fans) - my house AC/heat vent makes more noise. It is definitely quieter than any evaporative humidifier I've used.
