Lovely book, lots of pictures

Bought for my husband he enjoyed this book

Not sure how I missed this major aspect of this book selection, but I did: This book is a graphic or picture book. It's attractive, but it not a typical read. The pages are color, shiny and stylized, full of nearly a picture or illustration each page. A negative is that the reading does not flow. Reading is choppy and pieced and often seems to restate as it's collected from a variety of resources. Learning lots as I read, but wanted to ADVISE THAT THIS IS A PICTURE BOOK/COFFEE TABLE FORMAT. Enjoy the learning!

Excellent and very interesting historical book detailing the achievements of electrical geniuses Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edison. Many wonderful illustrations and photographs explaining amazing electrical inventions in a non-technical way.

It makes my heart go out for Tesla and less so for Edison's ego. Can you imagine what would have happened if Edison's ego wasn't in the way and they worked together? We would have advanced so much further.

Liked the book but thought it could have gone into more detail regarding the feud between the two men

This is one of the best books that I have ever read about electricity. It is really a book for both engineers and non-engineers, young and old. It is great history without political spin.

A book that was difficult to put down. It was beautifully illustrated also.
