QEP 10279 Grout Seal Bottle

This applicator makes sealing grout lines too quick and easy - hope none of my competitors, or customers get to see this feedback!!

Simplicity in action - an excellent product an unavailable on the high street - what an excellent purchase and back saver.

I thought I'd try it for myself as some reviews said it was great but others said it was useless as the liquid just pours out when you tip it upside down. I tested it outside on some paper first. Yes, if you tip the bottle upside down the liquid does just flow out and you don't have to squeeze it either. However, by trying different techniques I found if you try to hold the bottle as near horizontal as you can and pull it back towards you rather than pushing away from you then it works really well. You don't need to squeeze the bottle just hold it steady and keep it moving. You will get some spillage/splashing when you are placing it on and taking it off the grout line but you can easily wipe that up. I had a lot of success with this and found it less wasteful than using a spray and a lot faster to apply than a spray or a brush.

Call me stupid and you probably will but I was expecting the bottle to actually contain some liquid grout sealer when actually all it is, is an empty bottle!!and I bought 2 of them!! Hence they haven't been used yet, so I can't give a proper rating on it's performance. But to say that I'm disappointed with the product at the moment is an understatement.

The sealer applicator looks like it would work very well for floors. However, it's useless for horizontal grout lines on walls, as you can't hold it an an angle so that the sealer drips out of the nozzle onto the wheel.
