Mine stopped working completely. I contacted NLR support and was told that software engineers were working on the problem of their "complimentary software". I don't consider software that enables product to work or not to be in anyway complimentary! When it was working with sim shaker it was truly an experience. It was incredible but I cant trust something that works intermittently. Sadly, I had to return the product. **Q: Does it work on ps5?** A: It should work on all gaming consoles. Using the 3.5 headphone jack. **Q: Does this need an amp? Using for dcs on pc.** A: No amp required **Q: ? Do you need to plug it in to the electricity** A: Too many usb cables have to be plugged in. Two motors positioned under my arse stopped working. Bought it from Amazon UK in April 2025 and it’s now June 2026 and the faults are here. Great!! After reading web reviews and watching YouTube videos, this is a common manufacturing problem due to thin wires with no slack on joints that snap when you keep sitting down on the cover over time, and, another problem is the wires disconnect / brake away from the connection point to the motors. There are YouTube videos that show you how to repair or replace cables or re-solder things but that’s just a ball ache, especially after just one year of usage. Sort it out NLR! I wouldn’t recommend or buy any of the HF8 seat covers again, which is a shame because I did enjoy it while it lasted.
