Install Bay Speaker Baffle 6 1/2 Inch Round Small Frame Pair -VXT65

AN ABSOLUTE MUST FOR ANY SPEAKER MOUNTED WITHOUT THE BENEFIT OF A BAFFLE, SPEAKER ENCLOSURE OR SEALED DOOR PANEL/REAR DECK AREA. If you don't trust me take the ones you already likely have mounted and add a pair of these to the back of them and then listen to them again. It can make a world of difference. If you really love your music I would absolutely say these are an must for any stereo system that has a need. If you're not lucky enough to have speaker enclosures for all of your car audio speakers then just add these. Good distributor as well! On time delivery and came with other mix and matched pieces I had ordered. All in time for my installation. Too bad the other stuff didn't come as promised. but that in no way reflects on this seller.

These are too small for 6.5" speakers. The largest speaker they will fit is 5.0". The overall width is 6.5"

Excellent product!!

I wouldn’t call these baffles per se. More like filters. This takes the place of poly-fil or other sound deadening material which is typically cheaper. Speaker sounds good with it. It will NOT block out bass from a subwoofer in DIY speaker box. You will need hardened plastic or better for that.

While it may or not be corrected, based off of my reading online, car door speakers are designed to used with what is called "an infinite" baffle. This essentially means that they are not meant to be placed within an sealed baffle (such as these) as the tightly enclosed space can create positive air pressure (such as on the inward stroke of the speaker) which then resists the movement of the speaker. However, what everyone generally agrees on is that if you cut off the bottom half of the baffle, or poke holes in these, these baffles for the price make excellent rain hoods to protect your speakers from water damage should rain or water make it past the rain seals on your doors. This is exactly what I used these for and for that use I am fully satisfied. It's probably not the intended use for these, but I the next time I drive in the rain I'll rest easier knowing that my somewhat expensive aftermarket speakers won't be getting rained on.

Installed in the car doors as advertised. Not terribly sure if it improved upon the sound.

Intal it whit mtx tunder 65 and it kill all the bass speaker sound beter but no more boom
