This device keeps my phone at eye level for having my map for directions up, and therefore keeps me from looking down and putting myself at risk for a crash. As much as I do love this product, it scratches easily and then doesn't look so great, but I also used to have a pop socket, that didn't work with this product, so I got rid of it. I had to transfer the magnet from the pop socket to my phone, which worked fine, but I wish it came with extra magnets for this problem.Overall amazing though!

Impossible to remove from phone if you don't apply correctly.

Works but fell apart after a week of use

I've been using this product for 2 weeks, and it's doing exactly what it should. I have a Samsung Galaxy S2. I put the thin piece of metal in between the case and phone. It fits and is not noticeable. I then attached the sticker on top of the metal so it doesn't move. Then I put the magnetic mount (it comes already fully assembled) in the AC vent, and the phone sticks to it. The magnet is strong enough and holds the phone in place. It looks slick, does it's job, and so far I like it.Two points to consider:- One thing I noticed is that when it's hot, and the AC is on, the phone will block some of the air. So in those conditions it'd be better to place the mount/phone in a way such that it blocks as little air as possible.- The other thing is that although the magnet is very strong, and the phone is secure, it takes some time to psychologically get used to the idea that you can push on the phone and it won't fall off. But that fades away quickly once you start using it.

JUST ORDERED IT AND GAVE IT TO MY BROTHER. HE HAS HAD IT FOR ABOUT 5 DAYS NOW AND ONLY WORKS NOW WHEN YOU EJECT AND PUSH IN A FEW TIMES. I UNDERSTAND IT IS FOR AN OLD SYSTEM BUT STILL SHOULD LAST AS IT HAS NOT MADE IT TO A WEEK YET.

I got silvermagnetic car phone mount today. It works perfectly with my iphone 7 plus,wrapped by a plastic phone case.Don’t need to usethat 3M sticker enclosed to the package, I place the rectangular slim metalplate between phone case and the back side of my phone, so the plate ispositioned right in the middle. The plate is thin enough preventing your phonefrom fully seating in your case.The magnetic power is strong and has no interference tothe phone connection or GPS, I like it.Because there are 2 metal plates coming with the car phonemount, so my husband can use that circular metal plate to mount the phone tothe vent. It is a great item making life easier.

It’s cute and semi-functional. It fell out of my vent a lot. I drive hours each day. I ended up replacing it with a more expensive one that mounted to my dash.

Good product. With phone it is a little heavy for vent but other than that it does everything I expected.
