I really like the way that they have put this book together, because it makes it easier to understand and follow, and I am going to be making the first thing/s, as soon as I can find the right specimen stone or pair of stones, which make me know that I am going to be making it with one of the methods from this book.

Eventually got my copy after a very long wait & I love it, I went straight to the back & made the mirror image bracelet. I love to just dive in & see how things go. The book was easy to understand & the bracelet came out lovely.I do recommend that you read the instruction through completely a couple of times to get the instructions clear in your head, but they are worded beautifully & extremely easy to understand. I have done some wire wrapping, but nothing like this before & to be able to dive straight in at the deep end is a testament to Lisa Barths detailed & easy to follow instructions.I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to make this kind of jewellery. It is a must for all wire work jewellery makers. Another brilliant book to add to your collection. treat yourself for Christmas.

Good for beginners a great help

I like the way that the written explanation is clearly backed up with clear pictures of each stage. The designs vary along a theme, but there is a good variety. There is also room for your own adaptations using the basic design as a guide.The downside is that the cover is flimsy and has become dog eared very quickly and the front cover rolls open.I would recommend this to anyone who has some experience of making wired jewellery. It is not really for beginners.

Wonderful tutorials with close up photos. Shows a couple of weaves which she uses in the tutorials . Separated into beginners, intermediate and advanced sections. I'd learned a number of things in the first 5 pages . Tools to use and why they are necessary. Explanation of her terminology and how to position the wire during the weaves. I am a novice wire worker ,but feel capable of progressing much further , with the help of this book .

I can't rave about this book enough. It's rare to find a book where I adore all the projects. There's usually lots that aren't my style. Not in this book. I am new to wire weaving, but have done bead weaving for a while. The instructions are clear, and easy to follow, and the items made are stunning. Very happy.

Excellent book. So I’ve been making jewelry for three years. I’ve been trying many techniques. Practice, practice, practice! I was able to give really nicely made jewelry gifts for Christmas this year. So now I’m reading for more advanced wire weaving. I’ve been on YouTube watching videos and doing a little on my own. I hoped this book would help me by pointing out some things I didn’t quite get and it has. I was an educator in the past. So instructional books are not new to me. This one is clearly and precisely laid out. The detail is explained in depth. The picture quality is terrific. I found this book to be a great help. The videos I have been watching make a lot more sense to me now. I start to watch a new video then I realize that I already know how to do it. It’s awesome. I feel like it not only taught me to do these patterns but gave me a much greater understanding of how weaving works and how to put things together. I was a math teacher and that is exactly what I always tried to do for my students.I would highly recommend this book to a beginning wire weaver!

Très bon livre pour s'initier au wire weaving!! Bien qu'il soit en anglais, le langage utilisé est simple et les explications sont compréhensibles! Les photos sont de bonne taille et bonne définition, très claires! Et les projets sont parfaitement réalisables! Je les ai presque tous fait!!!C'est un très beau livre, avec de bons conseils et de beaux projets parfaitement réalisables (les derniers avec peut-être un peu d'entrainement, selon votre niveau) et adaptables, avec à la fin des photos d'autre de ses projets pour donner des idées et de l'inspiration!! De tout mes livres de wire weaving c'est mon préféré!!!Je recommande vraiment!!!

I always knew Lisa was a master, and this book is considered 'The Bible' for Wire Weaving by many wire artists, and it goes beyond what my expectations were. Soooo many useful tips that make you say, "Oh why didn't I think of that."Overall well layed out, gorgeous pics, it has an overview of tools but doesn't go into too much detail like 99.9% of wire jewellery and beading books do. The price I paid, even if it wasn't on sale would be a steal compared to some of those books out there.If you are serious about wire artistry then this is a hands-down Must Buy.I can't wait for LB's next book. She truly is a Master when it comes to wire art and can't wait for her next book.The only complaint is that she really likes the gooseneck hook and wish she had more variety there but I suppose there are books on connectors and this books focus is on weaving.
