This was excellent and easy to install. Apple told me 2 weeks for my iPhone 6S Plus and it wasn’t under warranty, so why not replace the battery myself? The directions were pretty straightforward and the tools very handy. The free screen protector is a nice addition. My advice is to go slowly and keep a small box to track the small screws and covers. The directions don’t say this but when reassembling the screen, make sure to snap the top (camera side) in first. Also, test the phone powers up before you snap it back together. These batteries come with an initial charge. Overall, extremely satisfied for reviving my “old” phone.

My phone was stuck on low battery mode, nothing on YouTube was helping until I came across a video of someone using a similar kit to replace his battery. Ordered it and it arrive a day early, followed the directions and my phone came back to life!!!!

I changed the battery in my iPhone 6s Plus. It was running down much more quickly that it did when it was new. I read the directions and watched the YouTube videos before doing the job. My father helped me to double check that I had done it right. I had it in and it did charge but still did not keep a charge the way it should have. I contacted the seller and he said that I would have to charge the battery and let it go through 5 or 10 cycles of allowing it to go dead until it was able to improve holding it’s charge. I did this multiple times and still improvement. I bought a new phone, not because of this issue and never thought about it again. I just think I got a bad battery in the first place as it did not improve as the seller indicated. I have a friend who needs a phone so i told her that she could have mine but that it did not hold a charge the way it should. I suggested that she buy another brand of battery and either replace it herself or take it to one of those stores who does this for a minimal charge. I would have kept persisting with the seller but I have better things to do then trying to correct that which was not right in the first place. I am sure it is installed correctly or it wouldn’t go to full charge at all. It just doesn’t hold a charge.

Hi folks. Just like you, I combined through the reviews and I just installed this battery in my wife’s IPhone 6. It went very smooth except for these things.1. I installed this battery in her IPhone 6. The box on the outside says its for the IPhone 6, the barcode sticker on the back of the box says its for the IPhone 6S Plus... The battery fit so.. I am not sure if there is a different battery for the IPhone 6s Plus verses the IPhone 6.2. When taking the screws off be VERY careful and place them in the EXACT order and placement where they came from. They are different lengths. I placed on them on a paper towel in the configuration they came out.3. When taking the sticky glue, off the back of the battery, you don’t have to heat it up, just very carefully pull it out like stuck gum between the battery and the inside of the case. Pull SLOWLY, as not to break it. I ended up pulling one out and the other was a pain to get out. Once these 3m type of sticky tape comes out the battery just falls out.4. MOST IMPORTANTLY. Do not use the screw drive supplied, it is very very cheap and if not careful will strip the screws in your phone. I purchased a set of tools that had the smallest screw driver i think 000 and it worked great! The star tool that comes in a copper finish is AWESOME!!! I wish the quality of the screw driver was the same. I would have paid more for a quality screw driver.5. Make sure to use the short pry tool for the little tabs to pry off not the big pry tool.6. I ended using a larger suction cup, like the ones you mount a GPS on your car windshield and the glass of the IPhone came easily off, no prob.Other than that, everything is straight forward, I’ll soon see if the battery is better than the OEM Apple one that came in the IPhone.

The instructions/tools that came with the product plus the youtube videos made the battery replacement easy. Pay attention on how to remove the adhesive tape between the battery and case. Pull the white tape slowly. The only problem I ran into after the battery replacement was installing the screen protector. I messed up... I contacted YONTEX and they offered a $ refund for the screen protector even though it wasn't their fault. BTW, the replacement battery is holding the charge & happy with the iphone again.

I'm going to start off with the fact that I have plenty of experience in installing phone batteries. So when my personal phone battery starts to go bad I will change it out. I usually buy from IfixIt.com, but I lost my toolkit moving and since this one came with it i figured I get it. I installed it without a problem and it worked well for about a day except I could tell it wasn't calibrated properly, so one night I let it completely die and that is when the problems started. Now it doesn't show its charged past 1% and constantly restarts itself plugged in and not. So I ordered a different battery from another company and installed it and that's when I realized that this Yontex battery had destroyed my phone somehow. The new battery didn't fix anything and the phone is continuing to have the same problems.So if you want to completely destroy your phone get this battery and install it correctly, then sit back and wait.
