Works, easy install
When you have over 20 Makita 18v batteries this is a no-brainer. Quickly and easily installed. My Dyson is back to life for around $20 vs almost $200 for a new Dyson battery. Run time is pretty good with a 5aH Makita 18v. I would say equal to the original battery. I have not tried it with a higher or lower amp battery.It does add a little size to the vacuum, but I have yet to see that be a problem.

Works best with 5 amp/h battery
Fits my collection of makita batteries. The 2 ah batteries work but as they loose charge you'll the the low battery error when in turbo. The 5 ah batteries work the best. Installs easily. I have 3 Dysons , I'll get more adapters as the other batteries fail.

Great fix for unreliable Dyson batteries
A well designed and quick replacement for the very short-lived battery that came with my otherwise wonderful Dyson V7. I live in Alaska and neither Dyson nor any of the Amazon suppliers will ship a replacement battery here. This device, however, allows me to use the batteries and charger that came with my Makita tools. I love ite.

Doesn't now work with 3.0 AH batteries
Does not last more than 5 seconds with a fully charged 18V 3.0 AH Makita battery.

Did not work with my Dyson
I tried using 18 volt and 20 volt batteries and neither worked.
