Love Vera , and the team brilliant

Received this Monday. As usual, I was not disappointed. Picture quality excellent- subtitles very helpful. Brenda Blethyn is superb as Vera, who also has a new haircut in the series. It is a nice change to be able to watch without irritating commercial breaks in between! This consists of four stories, which are well presented and watchable. I now have all 6 series on DVD, and personally I would recommend them all for any Vera fan! I think also that Kenny Doughty has fitted into David Leon's shoes very well!

The best of British t.v. They come no better than Brenda Blethyn. Vera was made for her and she deserves every accolade going. I loved this series from the beginning and eagerly await more. This series goes to show that you do not need sex and violence to make first class television.Sit yourselves down with a red wine or a cold lager and enjoy. You will not be disappointed !

This was one series we had missing and omg she is great in every one of them , but if you want to see a funny side to Vera watch a movie called " Saving Grace " it is about a woman in a little village who's hubby dies martian clunes is in it to name a few watch it and laugh

An absolutely fabulous 5 star realistic detective drama series set in the North East of England. I hope there is a further series sponsored in the future as the actress playing the DCI plays her part so realasticly. Fabulas storyline at great locations brilliant actresses and actors, loved every minute and thank you ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Brenda Blethyn is really playing her role very well, best mystery drama lately and every season is getting better. Rest of the team and all the characters in every episode are well picked and well played. Like David Suchet is Poirott so is Brenda Blethyn, Vera Stanhope - the character is so embellished that you forget it's a drama - it's entertaining! Please can we have more seasons coming?
