With right mobo and ram and graphics card, this really does the job
Well, after being sold a defective 7950x3D Ryzen CPU, I hurriedly got this in order to do a bench test before return windows closed. Well, this 7600 worked right out of the box, and I was able to return the dead 7950x3D. However, that's not the end. So I have a gigabyte x870 Aorus Elite mobo, DDR5 64gb RAM and a Sapphire Nitro+ with 24g on it, 7900 XTX. With this 7600 CPU, I am unable to top out frame rates on Unreal 5 test environments. Haven't done much video processing work yet, but so far am unclear whether I'll need the pricier CPU in the future. Will hold off on the upgrade for now, this CPU works great.

Easy to cool & Overclock!
I think I hit the silicon lottery with my R5 7600 chip. I managed to pull off a -50 mv offset and overclocked it to 5.39 GHz. Needless to say, this chip is fantastic and pairs very nicely with my RX 7800 XT and my system feels extremely responsive. With overclock, I managed to get 15224 score on Cinebench so I basically got a Ryzen 5 7600x but with better energy efficiency. For gaming, this chip is more than enough. Super happy with going all AMD for my gaming PC

Budget Gaming Beast
Paired this with an RX 7800xt. Cant go wrong for the price. Could definitely spend more for the king 7800X3D but if youre stretched thin this definitely will not bottleneck. Running most games at 1440p High-Ultra with minimal framerate drops.

better that is has any right to be
This is the heart of my new PC build, and I don't regret it. Sure, I could have gotten the 9600X for $40 more, but this benchmarks close enought to it that the're no point. Even though it's listed as a 65W TDP, I see it frequently hitting 100 under load - so bear that in mind and make sure you have appropriate cooling for it. I did not use the stock cooler, but got one that blows the air out the back of the case, vs down into the motherboard. I have not seen it get hot even under heavy load.

Calidad-precio insuperable

This CPU is FAST—like, "Where did my loading screens go?" fast!
Alright, so I finally upgraded my PC with the AMD Ryzen 5 7600, and wow... I did not expect this much of a speed boost. Seriously, this thing flies.Performance: Gaming? Smooth as butter. Multitasking? Like a pro. I can have 20 tabs open, a game running, and still switch between apps without my PC throwing a tantrum. If you’re upgrading from an older CPU, you’re in for a treat.Installation: Super easy—just make sure your motherboard has an AM5 socket, or you’ll be staring at it like, “Wait… why doesn’t this fit?”Value for Money: Honestly, for what this processor offers, it’s a steal. You get great performance without selling a kidney, which is always a win.Cooling & Temps: Runs cool, but if you’re planning on pushing it hard, a solid cooler wouldn’t hurt. Stock cooling is okay, but if you want to flex those boost speeds, keep it chill. If your PC is starting to feel sluggish, this is the upgrade you need. It’s fast, efficient, and won’t break the bank. 10/10 would buy again (if I had another PC to upgrade).

Great price
Didn't need it as it turns out but having a back up don't hurt.

Good CPU for first semi-budget build
Great all-round CPU. Nice that it came with its own cooler, but I opted for a bigger one, and I would recommend doing the same.
