Would not hold phone, it kept falling off.

Pretty cool! My phone hasn't gone anywhere since I started using this mount. The window it too far away for a suction cup for me. Short arms. ^😕^. And this mount keeps it off the dash where it's a view obstruction. The only think I did not realize is you have to put a metal plate in your phone case for this to stick. Silly me I thought my phone was metal...at least it's not magnetic. I have a clear case so it's a little ugly but if your case is opaque it would be perfect!

It was great for the first 4- 6 weeks, now it doesn't seem to hold the phone securely at all. I have tried adjusting the placement of the metal plates in the phone case, but it's like the mount itself is becoming demagnitized.

I use it all the time. I have a Samsung S5 and it holds it perfectly. Hasn't fallen off yet.

I bought one for my wife and she really likes much better than the the previous ones we had which attached to vent and kept falling off. It fits firmly in cd slot and when you tighten up the screw it stays in! So i just bought another for myself and really like it. the only thing you have to be careful of is if it will interfere with radio or other controls. It is somewhat in the way on her 11 buick regal (but she says she can live with it) but not so much on my 07 maxima.

Magnet was not strong enough. Good concept tho

Great value for the price. I NEVER use the CD player so its not a big deal to have the mount take up the CD slot. It's way better than blocking an air vent with one of those vent clip models. If you position the metal plate towards the bottom of the phone, it barely obstructs the view of the radio display.

Broke easily! Don't buy! It won't hold your phone well.

I purchased this phone holder for my car because I find the magnetic holders so much more convenient than the clip kind. I already had a magetic one that stuck onto the air vent however this one is much better. The kind that attaches to the vent blocks the air from the vent and if it's heat, it will make your phone hot. This model fits in the CD slot so it's out of the way of the vent and works great!I've used this for about 2 weeks so far.PROS:[+] magnet is strong and will securely hold your phone (even if you have a case over top of the metal plate that's provided)[+] very quick and easy to attach and remove phone[+] keeps phone away from vents so it doesn't block air or overheat the phone when heat is on[+] keeps phone close to AUX input and 12V power so cords don't run all over your car[+] came in a nice box (as opposed to just a plastic bag like some Amazon items)CONS:[-] installation instructions weren't included. It's not difficult to install but you should know that you need to insert it into the CD slot and then tighten the nut in order expand the wings in the CD slot to keep it secureOTHER CONSIDERATIONS:[+/-] The radio screen and clock are partially blocked by my phone with this installed. This won't be a problem for all vehicles though. My wife's car has the clock and radio display higher up on the dash so it works well for her car. You may want to consider this when deciding to purchase.I would recommend this product to anyone who's looking for a phone holder.

This thing works pretty well. It depends a bit on your CD slot in your car, but you can make it work with most configurations. Its just that some configurations don't clamp it as firmly as it could be, and need adjustments over time. The magnet is pretty good, I used it with an IPhone 6 and a Defender case, and it worked okay. A couple of times going over railroad tracks it bounced off, but other than that, it holds pretty good. The CD position is really nice, I think it is nicer than most of the vent clips I have seen. I recommend it, but just want people to be aware that it is not as rigid and fixed as some other mounts might be, but it does allow for easy temporary convenient mounting.

Doesn't mount in the CD slot as tightly as I had hoped. I would give it five stars if it were a more rigid mount.

There are better ones out there. Doesn't grip the CD slot well.

Item shipped quicky, works as it should. The tightening bolt could be shorter and smaller. This makes it a four out of five.Cheers
