You literally just turn the dials to increase the brightness as required, its super simple and quick to use with no complicated buttons. There is a mirror incorporated onto it which is really useful if you are using the camera not in selfie mode. It is ideal for not only selfies but also for directing light on a subject you wish to photograph or film on the normal rear camera. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Nice, but not for professional use. *by I***A on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 February 2018* Actually expected much more from this tool. The light is not very strong, so we had to buy a bigger LED circle on the tripod. But maybe it is the question of the exact use - we needed something for more professional use.Delivery was fast and package was nice. Can definitely imagine this as a good gift :) ### ⭐ Does not work *by R***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 September 2018* The LED light does not work if not plugged in. Mine has been on charge for hours hoping it would work but as soon as I take the USB out it stops working. Very disappointed. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/50291211-tycka-40-led-selfie-ring-light-stepless-brightness-control-independent](https://www.desertcart.be/products/50291211-tycka-40-led-selfie-ring-light-stepless-brightness-control-independent) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
