Fantastic, it really works!!!
I have been having bacterial ear infections for the last few weeks and my ears are completely blocked, so much so that I sometimes wish they would perforated as it can be so painful, disorienting, making me feel nauseous and at times with vertigo. It's also having an impact on my sinuses. I bought a netipot to help clear my sinuses in the hope that it would help clear my eustachian tubes (ears) and that didn't work. I didn't want to get antibiotics as I had already had a course of antibiotics a couple of weeks prior due to a sinus infection...! I bought the Eardoc and used it, my husband thought this was a joke and he thought I had wasted my money... I followed the instructions, although I moved it quite a bit til I felt this was vibrating the inside of my ear. After a while I heard crackling, felt a bit dizzy but things were definitely moving! A while after I stopped using it I had a horrendously foul taste in my mouth and knew this was the infection starting to clear from my Eustachian tubes. It also came through my nose. I am now on day 2 of using Eardoc and more stuff is coming out of my ears and into my sinuses and then through my nose and mouth. To avoid the infection staying in my sinuses I also use a saline solution up my nose to make sure that it all comes out safely. I definitely recommend Eardoc. I did not think it was difficult to find the sweet spot. If no sweet spot then keep moving the Eardoc around, but dont give up. This product really is worth it!!

Helpful gadget
My son who is 14 years old has suffered with glue ear every time he has a cold, he is in great pain each time and the doctors will do nothing as it is not every day but intermittent. As a last resort I am trying all gadgets! This piece of equipment had differing reviews but for my son who only gets a build up of pressure in the ear after a cold it did help. He now uses it when he feels the need and although it has not been thoroughly tested over a long period of time. In the two months he has been using it it has relieved the pain and pressure.

Interesting concept but didn't work for me
I bought this in the hope of relieving the pressure which I have in both ears due to Eustachian tube dysfunction (ETD), and have been unable to clear either ear for the last 6 months. I'm currently awaiting surgery to install grommets, and after a bit of research decided to try this device. The device itself is well packaged and seems reasonably well made. Some people have complained that it seems like a cheap device for the money, but I have no reservations about the quality of the device, and I don't think the price is unreasonable for what you get. The instructions however are pretty poor. They essentially suggest that you watch online videos, but it wouldn't be too hard to make the instructions considerably more useful, for example the use of colour diagrams and step by step guides. It can take a while to find the 'sweet spot' when placing the device behind your ear, but when you do find it it's quite obvious because you can feel your eustachian tubes vibrating. The vibrations seem fairly powerful on the higher settings, although the effect is probably magnified as it's your head that is being vibrated.I've used this several times a day on a variety of settings for over a week now and unfortunately there's no been change in my condition. I really wanted this to work, and at times I felt as though it was doing something, but ultimately I'm left with the same problem as I started with and it has not helped unblock my ears or equalize the pressure. That's not to say that it wouldn't work for someone else, possibly with milder symptoms, but on the basis of my own experience alone it didn't work.*Disclaimer*: I never write reviews in return for products or discounts. Every review I write is for a product I have paid full price for and is therefore entirely my own opinion. If you are concerned about whether or not a product has genuine reviews I suggest you use fakespot.com to assess the quality of the reviews

Simple, non-invasive. Worked for minor ear congestion in my case, but requires a little trial-and-error to use.
I suffer from persistent and sometimes very painful congestion of the ears, usually resulting in a significant loss of hearing and/or painful build up of pressure. Its incredibly bad sometimes, and I've tried everything from pumping my ear with my finger to sinus irrigation to holding my nose and trying to force the air pressure out of my ears. It was then out of almost absolute desperation that I decided to give Ear-Doctor a go.First of all the device itself. Its relatively simple in design, about the size of an electric toothbrush, powered by 2 x AA batteries (not included), with a wedge-shaped nodule on the end. It is placed behind the ear and works via vibrations, which are intended to vibrate the bones of the inner ear in order to release fluid, trapped air or open up the eustachian tubes to help relieve any number of conditions. The item has six vibrational settings. In terms of use, the instructions recommend using it up to four times a day or as required - which doesn't really inform us of much - and no information is provided as to exactly how its supposed to be manipulated behind the ear or for how long each session might need to be.What I found was necessary is that you are going to have to dig around behind your ear with the device a little in order to find your own 'sweet-spot' - it doesn't seem quite as simple as just placing the thing behind the general ear. At this point I was admittedly able to feeling the vibrations travelling through my ear and head and can confirm that it worked after a number of minutes in clearing the congestion that I was suffering.Apart from the somewhat trial and error manner of operation, the device appears to be a little cheap and flimsy in design and certainly doesn't have the appearance of something worth £40, but if it works for you then it would be worth every penny. At the moment my greatest reservation is that I have yet to have the opportunity to try it when suffering the more severe congestion or pain, which will be the real proof of the devices worth and is the specific reason why I purchased it. As someone with a chronic condition it will be a matter of time before I get that opportunity and I shall report again on the devices effectiveness at that time.

Stopped my Suffering
I have had this device for 4 months, so I have used it a lot starting with Ragweed season, during a Hurricane, during a Tropical Depression and when the barometric pressure changes erratically.I first ordered the Eardoc during Ragweed season when I suffer with clogged ears the most.Normally, I lose my hearing quite a bit during this pollen season and I also develop horrible tinnitus and it becomes so unbearable. But with the Eardoc, I never developed tinnitus and my hearing got better. As a matter of fact, my world has gotten a lot louder since I started the Eardoc and I no longer need to turn up the Tv to loud volumes or ask people to repeat themselves. And I am only in my 40s; my clogged ears before the Eardoc were really bad. When I first started using this device, I did it around 5X/day and now I use about 2X/day.I have a chronic problem with my Eustachian tubes clogging up since I moved to Eastern NC so I knew that my problem wouldn't be fixed overnight. But I am so grateful to have found relief. Before the Eardoc, I had tried everything including many antihistamines, steroidal nasal sprays, decongestants and Mucinex. But I still couldn't find relief. And since my ears are clearer, I have noticed that I no longer have pain in my Maxillary sinuses which used to hurt me so much. You can use this device over your sinuses though I use it usually on speed 2.When using the Eardoc make sure you are sitting down; do not stand up or lie down while using the Eardoc or you will get dizzy. Also place it above the Mastoid bone and behind your ear and you should feel the vibration down inside your ear. But if your ear is really clogged that the sensation will be more faint. When I first started using this device, I heard cracking in my ears when I used it and then that later lead to lots of small popping noises in my ear.I got my Eardoc on a Saturday and by Monday, I already felt better than I had in years. Before I do each treatment with the Eardoc, I pinch my nose and blow with my mouth closed to test how clogged my ears are and then I usually start on Speed 3 and do each ear for about a minute than increase it to 4 and do both ears again and stop after doing it at Speed 6 and then I test my ears by blowing with nose pinched and mouth closed and then I find my ears are completely open or are significantly better.I considered the Ear Popper and the Eustachi but the study on the Ear Popper showed that it was just easier than manually popping open your ears by blowing like mentioned above. And the Eardoc study totally convinced me, since they actually measured the fluid in the subjects ears before and after using the Eardoc over a 6 week period. And since such a high number of participants who suffered middle ear pain or eustachian tube dysfunction no longer had pain and had less or no fluid in their middle ear.The Eardoc comes with a black drawstring pouch to keep your Eardoc in and it says EARDOC in white letters.I am so glad to no longer be suffering because before the pain and discomfort of clogged ears was something that was weighing on my mind constantly.

Fun idea, but does not work.
Had high hopes for this device but unfortunately it does not work. I tried various positions, speeds, and length of time but this device is unable to clear the Estachian tubes in the ear. Save your money and look elsewhere.
