Cheap clip
The lead is fine, ITS THE MAIN CLIP ITS TO SMALL TO HOOK ONTO MY DOS HARNESS/COLAR AND JUST LOOKS WEAK AND CHEAP

Stopped puppy biting lead
My young Labrador puppy bit his way through 2 leads this lead has taught him not too bite his lead but the clasp is very small for length of lead and fiddly to attach to collar ring

Had it a week, Patterdale pup hasn't destroyed it yet. So that's a win.

Very thin chain
Nice leather handle but the chain is very light and the D ring connector too small, it only just fits on to the collar I have on my German Shepherd. Used once, now looking for something sturdier.

Not very sturdy
Leather strap was good quality but not very wide. D shape fastener not very robust... and we have a big dog.... do t think ot will ge very strong. So may not last long.

Not so heavy duty.
I was disapointed with it because it felt very light but was advertised as heavy duty. I mesured its weight, advertised at 222 grams but all included the one I received was 155 grams. The piece with the retractable bolt to secure the chain to a ring on the dog's collar was tiny, certainly not heavy and I dougbt good or strong enough for a medium athletic dog.Poor, maybe suitable for a chihuahua. I returned it straight away.
