If you are solving for the problem of mice in a space where there is a well-entrenched infestation, your landlord doesn't care enough to seal up his building, and you don't want to deal with poison and traps, this is a very good solution. I use it in my 10'X10" massage therapy office where there is a drop ceiling and the mice are starting to come in for the winter. It's been non-stop traffic overhead as they scurry around just on the other side of the very light, cheesy ceiling tiles creating a constantly disruptive environment for the massage clients who need to relax. Plus, maintaining a professional demeanor was becoming challenging and causing me stress.The RidRite worked immediately to decrease the activity by 80% on the day of install, penetrating the ceiling tile material really well so that I can keep it on top of a tall shelf pointed up at the ceiling instead of up inside the ceiling. Because of this good strong signal, I won't have to lift tiles up in the ceiling to check the batteries every time I think they might need changing out - this way I can stay on top of the battery usage rather than waiting for mice to show up again to know the batteries are dead. I am using rechargeable batteries to reduce heavy metal waste and expense and so far, the RidRite does not seem to be a heavy drain on them, making the recharging process less of a constant chore. This is a well-designed product. The variable frequencies, light sensor to switch modes automatically, hangable, solid, three-way fold-out directional design is nicely done - you can point it any way you want, which, in my case, changes daily.4 days out, there is still the occasional mouse scurrying noise, but not nearly like it had been. I will be supplementing the effects of this device with "Fresh Cab" herbal repellent to ensure even better results. If the building were to be sealed and if the infestation wasn't already in place, I bet the RidRite would be all that was necessary to do the whole job.*NOTE* the sonic sound waves of RidRite DO penetrate the EXTREMELY light material of the ceiling tiles in the area of my concern but would probably not do the same in a ceiling that is made of drywall - you'd have to find a way to place the device inside the ceiling.

I have to admit, even with the positive ratings, I was very skeptical. I ordered it and to my delight, it worked! I have dogs so poison was out of the question, glue traps to costly, and I think most of the alternatives (including those listed) are inhumane. I would definately recommend this product. The "pitch" it uses does not bother my dogs either which is great because I have five dogs!

Super easy to use. I like that it has an LED light that tells me if the batteries are still working. I bought this because we had a rodent eating plants in our greenhouse. It seems to be working real well. It has a slide bar that you can pick the strength and what time of day. It says on the package that obstacles can reduce effectiveness and that is true. However, this product works well enough that we would buy another one to remedy that problem or cut plastic and tape to the ends of the pots that have hiding holes on the sides. All in all love this product!

We are using this in our garage. It has been in use for a month and is doing what the seller promised. Bugs are a problem in the South and this helps to eliminate that head ache. It is nice to come from the garage to the house without having dodge the flying bugs especially the mosquitos. No problem with any part of this transaction.

This product worked much better than I thought. It quickly moved the mice away. It has definitely brought me some piece of mind!

These were absolutely worthless. I place two of them in the areas I knew the rats were traveling. Neither of these had any impact on the rats even when they traveled right by them.I complained to Amazon and they told me they would give me credit which they did. They also told me to throw the two I had away which I also did.

We started using this in our RV after we had mice get in it while in storage and this combined with "Fresh Cab" has been keeping the RV mouse free. Very happy with my purchase.

Had a pesky noise in roof space adjoining my family room (think racoons?). Have not heard the noise since I put in this device. And the current version DOES have a light to indicate it is on and the battery is still good.
