UPDATE: water gets inside mug walls!
UPDATE:I've had this bamboo and stainless steel mug (13 oz) for 7 months and a deal breaking situation has happened -- the mug is suddenly taking on water inside it's double walls. This morning I suddenly found that the empty dry mug sloshed when I picked it up. On close inspection I found water leaking from under the rubber base material and could feel something underneath it. **See attached images** to understand. After removing the black rubber circle from the bottom of the mug, I found a rusted screw holding it all together, and water dripping through the screw hole from inside the double walls. The area around the screw is stained with rust. I unscrewed the screw and shook out as much water as I could, and now am letting it air dry to remove remaining trapped water.... hopefully. There is no way to contact the manufacturer now, instead I'm directed to Amazon's help page -- which if you've ever gone down that road is a nightmare intended to shut you up. I wish the maker of this mug could offer some help.ORIGINAL REVIEW:When I first lifted this mug from its packaging I was surprised in a concerned way by how lightweight it felt.... so lightweight that I was a bit let down and felt that it couldn't possibly be durable or effective as an insulated mug. Wrong I was. After several weeks of use I can say that the mug is everything I'd hoped for and more. Hot coffee and tea remain hot for well over an hour. I made the right choice here and recommend it.Update 6 months later:This is the best coffee mug I've ever owned. I take it camping and use it at home daily. Solid product.

Misleading customers showing it with a lid, but mine didn't have one.
I ordered this cup for a Christmas present. In the picture it shows it comes with a lid. But mine didn't come with a lid. I kept it just because I was too busy to sent it back. I had to buy something else for a present.

Small splashes still happen when lid is closed
This cup just feels like quality. It’s extremely lightweight and the bamboo is smooth and splinter free. Keeps hot tea warm for hours!Inside is lightweight stainless steel. Lid seals tightly but the spin sipping open/closure feature lets splashes out even when closed. This is a great gift and I’d buy again, but I’d love to see an improvement on the lid closure.

My dad loves it!
Great design for a mug. My dad is the kind of person who will take a regular coffee mug with him in his car instead of a typical to go coffee mug. I thought this was a great gift so he could still have that coffee mug feel with a lid. He's been using it frequently and seems to love it. I highly recommend!

Nice size, not very practical.
I wanted to love this mug. I bought it for my boyfriend for his fishing trip to Alaska. Unfortunately he hates the lid, says it doesn't fit properly and leaks. I also find that I worry about washing it. All in all, it's a nice size but not very practical.

Great looking cup
The look is great. I use it as a camp cup and recieved a few comments on how nice my mug was and where did I get it. The lid helps keep coffee nice and hot on those cooler mornings.

It's very nice looking but the moose is faded - which I don't mind, but just a heads-up. It does not keep liquid hot for as long as I thought it would, which is why I bought it. Huge bummer. Price is expensive for such a poorly insulated mug.

Great value! Excellent finish!
Not bad for the cost but does not keep coffee warm as long as I was hoping for. But great overall value
