Personally I feel the cooling caps that you soak first work a lot better at actual cooling, but this cap gets a lot of looks and compliments so it is, in fact, COOL!

I am so pleased with this cap!!!. It keeps your head cool even if you stuck in the sun longer than expected, it gets lots of positive remarks from people, and it's one of my better purchases. Five stars is a fair rating.

I love wearing my cool cap.!!! After watching my grandson's graduation, 3 hours in the sun, everyone was asking where I gotmy cool cap. Parents, grandparents and kids all wanted one. "Make America Cool Again"

This is the greatest cap, the reflective quality helps leer the head cool, and the dark part under the shade keeps glare out of my eyes.

Need for Florida sun shield
I will use this hat as my summer hat, as the Florida sun requires thiskind of sun shield..

Does not look like the picture.
The hat may have the features listed, however it does not look like the picture on Amazon. It is actually an aluminum foil type look on both the front and back. Not going to keep this one.
