They don't smell all that cedary but they are good as a base for a few drops of cedar oil. I recommend Giles and Kendall Cedar Oil. I wish the hole in the center was larger... some wooden hangers with highly curved or sturdy hooks won't go thru.

I have cedar chests, I've had cedar closets, maybe I expected too much from little cedar rounds. No scent what so ever when opened. Sanded as instructed, and as I know you need to do, with other cedar items. A little more scent, but not much. Put them in 3 closets, no scent unless your nose is on the rounds. I can't give many stars, even though I bought these in good faith, and had hope for them. Sorry. For me they were just rounds of wood.

Very pleased with the strong red cedar fragrance in these ring hangers. That's what you need to keep the moths and silverfish away.My only wish is that they'd drill the hole about 1/16" larger in diameter. These fit over some of my hangers (and would certainly fit over a standard wire hanger), but if you have nicer suit hangers, some of the hanger ends are too large to fit through the hole. I just spread them around my wool suit hangers and stuck them among my wool sweaters. Since they're small (~2"), you can choose where to use them. I would never use mothballs for the stench. These, however, smell wonderful!

It’s a box of cedar disks. I left them on my dresser for a week and the smell is gone. These are useless.

Didn’t work for what I wanted them for. Read that they keep pantry moths away. Didn’t help.

No disappointment here. Arrived as listed and are exactly what I needed.
